Amazing set! To be honest, I dont think Sagat as a character was the reason why Bonchan lost here. Chris T just had great timing on his jump ins and Bonchan wasn't ready with his DP which is a must for Sagat. Sagat is still new, Bonchan will have great success with him.

The amount of jump heavy punches Chris landed was crazy. More than half of them bonchan didn't even throw a fireball, just got hit. Sagat is very tall and aa dp is easier said than done

Pretty straight forward character he's either in your face or is trying to get there not much is usable once you're close (for real every special move is minus on block and both overheads are telegraphed as fuck)so you just stick on target and hope that they throw something at you thats punishable the moment you block

No 3f button, no more auto throw loops, ex air tatsu got nerfed to near uselessness. A lot of his game is frame trapping into target combo so a lot of his moves are either only +1/2 on block or negative, so it's hard for him to maintain pressure without meter. And Akuma does everything better.

cause he's meter dependant, without meter everything ken does is unsafe and he has the reach of a crippled man. this season he's got some small buffs though, and most of the cast got nerfed to shit, so I'd say he's on par with 90% of the cast, except Cammy akuma menat Abigail Mika who are undeniably stronger.

I understand your pain, but the difference between the two characters is Abigail is supposed to be this big brute that can get high damaging combos regardless of a guard break.

Abigail's Guard Break also have massive scaling, so even his combo would only tickle. But the thing is people are also terrified of his command grabs so you see way more people acting like deer in headlights and end up not blocking the attack at all, and thus eats an full damage combo instead. Bonchan decided to go for a big combo when he guard broke a clearly guarding Ken, and thus would only get a scaled combo instead of a bigger reward combo if Ken wasn't blocking.

Abigials guard break does the same scaling. Its just that Abigails general damage is high already on its own. So it SEEMS like the guard crush combo does a lot. When in fact the actual combo would have done WAY more. That's just an Abigail specific thing. All universal guard breaks do the exact same scaling.
