Just so all are aware, at the end tokido did not cancel the standing light kick into super as a hit confirm, that is next to impossible. He did a quarter circle forward input and then pressed light kick, and during the light kick animation he inputted a fireball, so that if the light kick connects it would cancel into the super. If it doesn't connect it would just be a standing light kick. It was more of an advanced footsie tool. And yes, it was amazing.
@SomeMonsterz8 жыл бұрын
Farhan Ahmed Indeed, but if it had been blocked, the super would have still come out. I think seeing Ken start his run animation helped Tokido react.
@fad26798 жыл бұрын
Possibly, though if I were to put my money on it I think Tokido just threw the light kick out there with a 'hidden' super cancel in the hope that the light kick would connect. I could be wrong though.
@TheDarc3k8 жыл бұрын
I don't know if it is useful, but it is also possible to input the CA and hold down the punch button, so when you release it after a light kick the CA will come out.
@pingon555558 жыл бұрын
I just tried this on training and when you set counter to ON you just input the foward 1/4 circle > lk > 1/4 circle > lp and it comes out. The 1st 1/4 circle and lk have to be done almost at the same time. pretty sick stuff
