"For over 10 years I pushed my feelings aside.
I thought I was strong... but in reality I just kept digging that hole deeper and deeper.
One day during the writing process of No Halos In Hell I was sitting by the piano, and while I was singing some gibberish to make up a vocal line for one of the songs, I felt something. And when I went back to listen to what I had just recorded, I realized that this was more than just gibberish to me.
I guess it was my own mind that started to process things.
My brother, Fredrik, was taken away from me and my family way too early. Just as so many other human beings who decide every year to leave this earth on their own initiative.
When we discussed the video, I really didn't "just" wanna do another normal lyric video. My Fiancee came up with the brilliant idea to involve the fans. We contacted our fanbase through our social media platforms, and the response was truly beyond overwhelming. We got more participants that we could fit in! The subject was close to our fans hearts - and I am eternally grateful for their participation!
My brother was strong, funny, and full of life and loved to work on his boat.
This song is for people like my brother.
I want them to hear this song before it's too late. We only have one life! And even if you sometimes feel as though life isn't worth fighting for, trust me, it is! When I look at my kids I can't stop thinking about what a fantastic uncle he would have been, and it hurts me that he was never able to meet them. I know how much they would have loved him.
My parents lost a son. And me and my sister lost a brother.
He is forever missed and loved as we keep fighting our battle from within."

This song is my life. As a 54 year old battered, abused and now disabled from all my injuries, all I can think of and dream of is the relief that death will bring. I pray for death every time I close my eyes but it never comes. I watch this video at least 5 times a week and it always brings me to tears. But it always gives me one reason to look forward to tomorrow. So I can read the signs that tell me that I'm loved and I'm needed in this world. Because God knows that I don't hear that anywhere else in my life. Thank you guys, for writing this song. It really hits home. Thank you Euge for your videos that you make teaching theory and sharing your knowledge. I play guitar, sucks you can't anymore. I watch Euge's videos too and he knows who Mr TSL 100 is in Houston, Texas. Me. Monday I'm having a 10 hour surgery for my cancer recovery. Not. Really looking forward to it but it's going to happen. I'm not going anywhere. I told God I want to be here still. I have more work to do. Read John chapter 3 verses 3-7. It changed my life. God still has a purpose for you to still be here. I know that. Might sound like BS to now. But if you can possibly open up your heart just a crack, and give Jesusa chance to come in, you will know yourself that you are supposed to be here for God to do something wonderful with your life. Otherwise one day you will meet Him and He will ask you why you never gave Him even a chance. Don't let that happen. I love you my friend. I pray God's presence on you now.

Not even a minute in and as I look at all these different faces from different walks of life, i immediately started to cry. I never fought this battle myself, but those I come to meet that do never fight it alone as long as I'm in their life. Idk why it hurts me so much to know people who I feel are worth so much more than they have been lead to believe want to take their last breath, but it really does. I wish I could befriend all that do because not enough people are willing to fight for them to live, even if it's as simple as listening to their problems until they find a solution and not letting up until they do. I would never give up on your pain because somehow it becomes my own. Whoever is fighting with this now, I don't need to know you to say I love you. Your existence here is nothing short of magical because you have a mind that is as unique as a fingerprint. If you feel like you don't matter or that you're alone, it's only because you outshine those around you that only made you feel alone. But to feel alone is to know you're irreplaceable. To not relate to the hate you had to endure to feel this way is to standout from a world overrun by sheeple who are only a dime a dozen. Remember that.

after my mom passed away cuz I lost my entire family in the last six years you know I tried this 127 * and today I am still alive and I even died last year and saw my mom my stepdad and people that I love and my fiance and you know they told me it wasn't my time yet. Even though I don't have any friends or family nowadays and with the holidays coming up it makes it really hard and you know the song really does get home a lot cuz you know when you try as many times as I did in the past and to survived it you know there's something to it there that's for sure I don't know why I'm here I really don't know why I'm still here but I am you know and with the holidays coming up like I said you know what people are going to celebrate Thanksgiving this Thursday and I'll be alone with my dog and me and with Christmas coming up will be shopping and buying Christmas presents and you know I haven't got a Christmas present so long now like 7 years you know I lost count so I know what this song means and I know what the meaning is and it's a very powerful song represents my life for sure I mean in 2012 from 2018 know I lost my entire family my fiancee killed herself October 15th 2012,my other dog passed away on December 15th 2012 a year before that my other dog passed away my mom passed away on January 27th 2013,two years later I lost two more people to more relatives to best friends my uncle passed away two years ago and my aunt passed away this year oh yeah I died last year and came back for hours later. I don't even get Christmas cards or nothing so you know but I'm here I don't know why but I'm here but I don't know why I'm still here but I am and I haven't tried it in over a year since me dying so maybe that tells you something. anyway that's my story I hope you learn something from it and I hope you appreciate it and I hope you remember that no I am a very unusual candidate to try suicide 127 times and survived it I used to be a cutter and that's what I did and I did everything you could think of and I survived every bit of it. and then when I did die last year you know I came back and it wasn't suicide attempt it made me die I was outside basically and I suffered from heat exhaustion and I came in the house and I felt my heart rate you know drop in and the next thing you know I saw what I saw and I know what's out there and I know what to expect and I know where I'm going and I know that if I can help somebody by telling them that if I can survive what I've gone through you can to your stronger than you think So that's about it I hope you read this and think about it and remember it's because if I can help somebody maybe that's why I meant to be here

After week or maybe month, you will forget about that.

@@cyanidesyn123 What I want from it for everyone living with depression, mental illness and PTSD is to be understood, helped and acknowledged. It's easy to write it, easy to say you support it, however DOING something to help someone, anyone is a completely different matter. It's like saying we fight cancer because we donated n million $, no you go out there and promote healthy living and actually HELP someone. Then you can say you actually DID something for that person. Writing messages will not help anyone, raising awareness our fellow humans need help and helping is.

It’s more of a venting from Jake which in and of itself contains a message. His brother committed suicide and he wanted to write about it. I get that people will focus on the message but we have to understand what he’s saying. He’s telling his now dead brother that he wishes he was still here which is very tragic. To be honest though who is anyone to say that words don’t make a difference?? There have been a numerous cases where words caused some to take their own life. Maybe some uplifting words could have the opposite effect no?? Especially coming from someone who understands how someone may feel from experience? Words matter my friend.

@@CruisinRoute66 Words mean nothing if you don't put hard work and elbow grease behind them - meaning actually doing the helping. Words are only vocals said and they never did and never will matter without action, unless we talk about hexing domain. It is a tragedy to lose someone to suicide, but you have to know that if anyone is fully determined to do it no one and nothing can help him. Pray to never find out whats it like in either case. People need other people and depressed people need to know they matter and that their life matters. we see this bleak picture only because the closest family gives up on them along with the society.
