Thanks man this part 3 is exactly what I was looking for. I need to replace the Cam Shaft cover gasket on my 03 Suzuki Vitara and I think is gonna be very helpful. Thanks a million. Great job.

Thank you so much for the video. These vehicles are work horses and will run a long while if maintained properly. This means they will eventually need this timing chain replacement. unfortunately not too many videos are available on this vehicle so yours is much appreciated. Thank you again.

Great videos man, you're a life saver. Is there a part 4?? I would have liked to see the entire job even though i'm only doing the timing chain replacement in my 03!

LeofricH THANKS! I'm tackling this job this week...hopefully I don't run into any problems. I'm trying to do it without removing the radiator so we'll see how that goes. I have the factory service manual to go off of too :)

@@CSD2448 how did it go?

You're adjustable wrench works, but the proper way to remove the cam sprockets is with 17mm wrenches. Before you take of any tensioners or chains off you must put 1 wrench on 1 bolt of sprocket hold it in place and with the other 17mm wrench loosen the other cam sprocket bolt. Ones you loosen the first bolt, hand tighten and switch the process to the other bolt and loosen as well. You dont have to do strength on the loosen bolt, just hold it in place while you loosen the second bolt..

I just want to change the camshaft covers rubber seal. do I need to take the radiator and all that extra off just for that? I know the spark plugs will have to come out.

cole moore I have to replace the head gasket for my fiance's car as well. Watch video 6 in this series and you'll see the head gasket. It looks like a lot of work to get to it, but it could save you $1,000
