Piece of advice for all owners of this baby. changing from semi to auto etc use both sides or you will damage selector. and that little wobble in stock , just put a bit of insolating tape where rail travels on both sides and done :)

I picked mine up for about £140 from TaiwanGun prior to brexit. I'd say it shoots on par with my Hera, to be honest. It's one of my favourite RIFs

I’m a little confused, this mp5 looks identical to the one on taiwangun under the name “high speed” not blue. Is that the same gun or am I missing something, I’m quite new to airsoft and am looking for my first mid range metal mp5

So the blue series is basically a designation given to those cyna products that come with better spec internals. The high-speed series also had different internals, such as a high torque motor and gear set - the difference being that the high speed variation is geared towards a higher rate of fire and snappier trigger response

Also refused optics due to the fact that it spoiled the iconic look of the native sight, lol I had to buy Platinum for the sake of gearbox and the standard version for the sake of the correct charging handle. It was a kind of funny constructor, now I am completely satisfied with both the appearance and the rate of fire

Hello Sir, I bought this exact gun and I am happy for this but I have the following problem: Hop up adjustment strip is way too loose and goes back to no hopup after several shots. SO I was thinking of simply taping the hop up strip in place after I have adjusted it to the desired hop up ammount. My question is do you feel this is a good idea since it appears very cheap and effective solution to me however I am unable to find any mention of such solution for this style of hop up and I am worried fixing the hop up strip might damage the gun or something. If anyone has the same problem how did you solve it? Do you think my idea will work?

A friend had a similar issue and solved it in much the same way you've suggested here with no problems. If you're planning to stick to a set weight of BB's, I night be tempted to hot-glue it into position as it might just look a bit cleaner that the electrical tape solution.. you could always strip the gun down and tighten it all up properly, but that would likely void warranty etc.

That's I want, robust longevity of a gun; does it still serve you well? I don't have much money to spend on airsoft replicas and I want it to last.

Its been absolutely fantastic. Truth be told, my son now uses this mp5 as I've treated myself to the NGRS version from Tokyo Marui. But maybe its even more of a testament that the cyma continues performing so great even though my lad is 'less careful' with it

First port of call would be your fire selector.. As I said in the video, even on these blue editions, they feel like the budget selectors you'd expect to find on a low-end rifle.

The way I understand it the speed edition is basically cyma's version of a TM HiCycle. Geared slightly differently for a higher rate of fire - I don't think there would be any difference in terms of quality.

If you try and import from a UK store, you will get a UK style plug. Can you not find anyone in the US that stocks it?
