Le groupe se forme à Londres en 1971. Actif dans les années 1970, le groupe a sorti quatre albums entre 1972 et 1981. Il est formé de huit membres, tous originaires des Antilles (Jamaïque, Guyana, Saint-Vincent-et-les-Grenadines). Ils décident influencés par le rock progressif anglais de créer une musique qui soit un mélange de tout ce qui sonne Afro-Rock. Ils inventent donc un terme pour définir leur style : le « Nyah-Rock ». Car bien que leurs musiques soient fortement teintées de funk, le groupe a toujours été inspiré par le mouvement Rastafari. En 2015, un autre album sort, "A simple act of faith", un dernier coup d'épée dans l'eau ? Non, un nouveau sortira en 2025, " Renascence", dont voici le premier extrait !
