I’ve been concealed carrying for 2 years and the firearm that I first carried is not the firearm I carry now. Sometimes the firearm that is the hot new item might not work best in concealed carry for you…that is completely fine. Find what works for you because there are a lot of solid options.

I’ve been a conceal carrier for about 2 years now though I’ve been a firearm owner for over 50 years. My advice is to experiment with different types of holster/pistol rigs to see what works best for you. Find a comfortable combination because if it’s not comfortable, it’s likely you won’t wear it as often as you should--and that could be devastating to you AND your family.

Nice content brother. I’ve been a concealed carrying since 1996 . I have a kore essentials belt I’ve had it for a long time, by far the best carry belt. I definitely need another one. With the ratchet system definitely give some extra length on the belt especially for winter carry, you may wear layers of clothes. For new concealed carry and people who have been carrying for years TRAINING IS KEY once you think you are prepared YOU ARE NOT. I just started carrying the Canik mc9 l love it. Stay STRONG AND BE SAFE Thanx for the video.

I actually got into firearms after someone pulled a gun because of a road rage incident. I’m relatively new to concealed carry (started edc a year ago) because I was mostly at college but now I try and always have something with me if I’m able. My advice would be that conflict can happen anywhere at anytime so have a scenario ready for when your are in a car or seated because stuff always happens when you are vulnerable. I trust my life to a beretta apx centurion. Stay safe and Godbless!

Ive been carrying for 4 years. Ive been looking into getting a Canik MC9L I seen it in your video and really liked it. I currently carry the Canik MC9 and I love it. I’m happy that you chose the belt … this should be a good giveaway. I hope one of the newbies gets the belt. One of the first things I tell new shooters is to determine what features they need and if they don’t know the whys behind an option, ask questions. Do you need a manual safety or not, etc. That kind of thing. Dont be like those thousands of new Glock owners who came into our shop during the pandemic, bought guns that they never shot because the guns didn’t have a feature that they wanted. Those guns were unloved and gathered dust. As said in video, getting to the gun store and renting guns to determine what fits and what doesn’t is critical. When you find one that you like, rent it, shoot it, research it’s reliability. Once the right one is found, take a class or two and make a plan for how it will be used and know what you will do in those day to day scenarios. Holsters are the next stage. I’ve been carrying for many years and instructing for half of those years … and I’m still trying to find my one holster to rule them all. It’s like a quest that never ends. Research, rent, plan, train, and stay prayed up.

I’m currently in the process of getting my ccw permit. My advice is definitely to take an intensive training class with your edc choice. Hello, nice video with some good key points. I feel you covered a good portion of what a good EDC should be. The firearm size to the holster and even some of the features like the claw attachment and wedge. My advice to a new person stepping into this world is training. Training with the firearm ( it's not just about point and shoot), train and become proficient with it. Invest in yourself as well. Take a few of courses or classes to help you become a good shooter. Been conceal carrying for 5.5 years. Start with iwb 3-4 o’clock, then bellyband, then finally find the best carry method for me which is pocket carry.
