Cynthia and Clementine were in a relationship (which ended?). Clementine met David and while the wedding was going on Cynthia made a fool of herself by trying to take off Clementine's wedding dress. Cynthia was so ashamed she tried to kill herself. After getting help she was asked to the get together, to help her get back to some kind of normalcy. But as we all saw she is stronger than they all knew! I hope this helps?

Waaaaay too abstract at times, dialogues, incoherent at times due to accents. Part of the story and what happened becomes a guessing game for the audience or at least me. Thanks for the effort though

Sometimes watching a film a second time can help. Listen not only to what is being said, but what isn't. Read the characters' body language. This is a brilliant film about a introvert so overcome guilt and shame that it almost cost her her life. She's finally revealed her true feelings, something she should have done a long time ago, and can now finally move on with her life, albeit without her friends.
