i’ve seen this trick before and still can’t figure out how it works and WHY it’s so much faster than curling hair when it’s down?? 🤔🤔

It’s faster because you aren’t curling the hair that’s at the scalp on the lower parts of the head. You are only curling the hair sticking out of the ponytail band. The placement of the ponytail high up on the head makes use that you are curling most of the length of the strands that is at the top of your head (which falls and covers the uncurled hair below.)
