Minecraft - How to Build a Cherry Blossom Survival House (1.20)

To clarify I am using Crimson Wood for the trim of the roof! I realize now the shaders make it look a bit like Mangrove (which is a fine replacement for the Crimson Wood if you can't manage to get any) but the design was made with Crimson Wood in mind! It's here! I know a BUNCH of people have been asking for this tutorial and I'm happy to have it done! Let me know what you think since this is the first long form tutorial style video I've done. This was really great - it's my first complicated build I've ever done, THANK YOU! My only suggestion would be to show the direction you're going when you do things like the roof for example - sometimes it was hard to tell exactly where we were standing without really examining the build. Thank you for such a great video again though, the build is absolutely gorgeous and you did a lot of work with the editing!

for the floor you can use slabs and then dig out the dirt underneath the floor and replace it with glow stone and then cover up the glow stone with moss carpet so you can see it through the leaves but it still lights up the inside of the house :))

I love the fact that (even if you're in creative) you still walk around instead of flying, the tutorials I watch usually have people flying around and I tend to try to build in survival, so it can be a pain having to create scaffolding, or praying your finger doesn't let go of shift. But seeing as how your builds are in a way survival friendly I appreciate you 😭💞💞💞

The walls are made from a combination of cherry planks and stripped cherry logs! The windows also use some cherry stairs to add a bit of depth! :D

I cannot begin to express how perfect this video/tutorial is. Everything is easy to follow, the background music with birds and the creamy keyboard sounds when there's a text are beautiful, the house is beautiful, the interior is beautiful. The way you didn't go too fast on more concentrating parts like the roof, so we could follow is just straightforward nice. I also love how the video is underlined in parts so you can easily see when and how long each part would approximately take. How were you able to do the drawers on kitchen with the staircase item frame and sign??

It should work as shown: placing the item frame down, adding the staircase to it, and then placing the sign down on the edge of the block to place it on top of the item frame. I will say I'm not sure if it also works on Bedrock but it does work on Jave!

Did you build up the chimney on the outside of the house? It shouldn't be flush with the wall on the outside of the house, it sticks out by a block.

I use the "Complementary" shaders (The Unbound version if I remember correctly) and the "Jerm's Better Leaves Add-on" texture pack!

The swaying comes from the shaders I'm using! If you're using shaders there should be an option to turn on waving leaves! :D

I've heard from some people that you can't place signs on items frames on Bedrock edition so if you're playing on Bedrock that might be why! Unfortunately I don't think there's a fix for that so you might just want to pick whether you want the sign or item frame
