How can someone say Travis is just another average rock drummer? Are you joking? Travis is one of if not the most creative/versatile drummers out there. He has more street credit in hip hop than any other drummer. That's why he's always asked to perform with many rappers. And if it weren't for him blink would have never been as big as they are now. When he joined that's when they really started to blossom. And he's always trying to improve and add things to his skill list. You never here the same fills in any song he's in. (unlike Joey jordison) it's hard to call anyone the "best drummer" but he's definitely in the top of the list.

lol nah hes a dope drummer, i give him that hes just no where near the greatest like some people claim. and i agree, its hard to say who the greatest drummers are because thats based on preference and style, but i mean listen to danny carey for example, im not even a Tool fan but danny is on a whole different level then this dude travis barker. the two are not even comparable.

Bro you are totally correct on that one Travis Barker is definitely one of the most versatile drummers ever I seen a country music award show and he was the drummer which blew my fucking mind he was up there sporting his mohawk with a bunch of Country Legends and he made it like it was no big deal but he has played with so many rap bands rap rock bands as long as they are a decent band he will play with them and try to improve everyone performance

I like how people hate on his drumming here. It's not like one video is going to show all that hew can do. Besides, a good drummer knows when not to OVERPLAY. He is playing exactly what needs to be played, and does a fantastic job at it. Shows he's not restricted to just punk rock. You don't listen to this type of music for the drumming in the first place, it should not be over complicated.
