Fun fact... B Real is LITERALLY one of the nicest celebrities you may have the pleasure of meeting!!! Full STOP! I met that guy at a bar, after they did a show, and he was SURROUNDED by people. He came up to the bar I was working behind, asked me (and I quote...) "Could you please save me a seat in the corner so I can kinda hide out? I just wanna chill out after a show and decompress." So, of COURSE I did. And after about 20 minutes, he asked me "Excuse me... do you know who I am?" I told him I did, and he thanked me like crazy for not making a huge deal or treating him any different than anyone else, besides the seat. So we got to talking for a while, and he was REALLY more interested in how my night was going than anything else. It was kinda a bullshit night, so we laughed about that, he tried a couple drinks I had recommended and loved them, and by the end of the night you'd have thought he was just another regular customer. We closed the bar, and I went outside and the band's ride was still there. He popped out the bus and asked if I wanted to hang for a while (of COURSE there was weed involved. Haha!) and I hung on the bus for about 2 hours. Super chill time, B was super gracious, and even listened to my music and gave me some good pointers. GREAT DUDE!!! I've met some shitty celebrities in my day (THE WORST was, believe it or not, the actor Danny Glover, but Eminem comes a REALLY close second... and thats just because Danny Glover called me a 'worthless piece of shit' because I wouldn't leave my job to drive him to the fucking airport) but B Real is a total class act.

I went to a lot of Cape Town underground parties where the artists weren't revealed until they got on stage. At one party the opening acts were playing and I went into the chill area only to find all of Cypress Hill hanging out. Probably my favourite artists at the time. I almost had an out of body experience 😂

This group was more popular than Public Enemy back in the days, even more popular than NWA and Wu-Tang combined. Like, everybody had heard of Cypress Hill. Beastie Boys is probably the only group you could compare their popularity with. And if they did not know the name of the group, they for sure had heard this song. This track is on the same level of popularity as Jump Around by House of Pain. Hip hop was not popular in clubs back in the day, but they all played these two tracks and Sabotage by Beastie Boys.
