Ah, Akrotiri, I used to go out there on detachments in the 80s with F-4 Phantoms for Armament Practice Camps. Good times and enjoyed going to Chris Kebabs for a good Mezi with free Kokinelli wine.

OMG, just written a comment on your chicken mozzi post and earlier I found this one! I lived at Akrotiri 1995-98 (Manning Avenue) and 2005-06 Cornwall Avenue. My now ex-husband was on 84 Sqn both times. I've only watched up until you reach Limassol so far today (work stopped me watching more!) but to see Chris Kebab, the Aki Arms and more on your journey off camp - amazing memories. I will certainly watch to the end. The tavern in Polis Village used to serve the best Mousakka ever!

It's disgusting what governments around the world have done. I've never worn a muzzle, never did lockdowns, never had a test, never had a jab & guess what, never had the convids. My daughter & her hubby & kids went to Greece. Newcastle Airport asked for jab proof, my daughter said they haven't had jabs, the check in officer asked where they were going, when she said Greece, he said you're fine. What crazy times we live in. Happy memories of a beautiful holiday for you & your lovely family
