I agree, totally. He tops di Nero by a little and surpassed Brando who was often just awful, a bit too cute or queer or silly. Danial Day-Lewis and Sean Penn had a chance to equal Pacino but didn't quite. Gary Oldman is very close to Pacino esp. after his amazing Churchill portrayal and performance. He may catch him.

Nobody in the history of cinema has gotten my attention more than that man right there! I don’t get a damn how old, how hoarse his voice gets, how much people say he goes over the top... I will give my hard earned money and my time because nobody has brought me more joy watching them on screen! One last thing Pacino is as great in bad movies as he is in classics!

Al Pacino is a real class act. What an exemplary life he's led. Even 1,000 years from now people will be studying his body of work and writing books and biographies about the great 20th/21st century American actor, Al Pacino. God bless Al Pacino, and I hope Al stays with us well into the 2030's. I hope he lives to be 💯 years old, and then passes away peacefully, painlessly, and instantaneously in his sleep. Then he opens his eyes and is standing in Eternity, his soul laid bare before the Just Judge, and the Judge says to him "come into the Kingdom prepared for you from before time."
