Crush Dance does more damage than Burning Rush. Burning Rush will always do 150% damage. Crush Dance does 150% at level 1, 172% at level 2, 195% at level 3, 217% at level 4, and 250% at level 5. As for SP, Crush Dance generates more SP at level 1(50 as opposed to 30 from Burning Rush) and slightly less at level 5(100 as opposed to 102 from Burning Rush) Though the main reason i used Crush Dance here was to level it up.

Dart and other characters are ok. Its just Prince Albert is hard to use. His moves combo varies in speed.

@Taroodle Yeah, especially when you figure out that his shield prevents all damage, and to just use the "Block" command to slowly get your health back up (10% health back per block), and cut the damage you'll be receiving. Lastly, I absolutely hate the attack he uses that summons a ton of lightning by throwing his sword up into the air, then slashing everyone, then bringigdown a huge lightning ball, which then explodes in a huge pillar of electricity. Pain in the ass, but still a lot of fun.

Dragoon levels aren't gained with character levels. You could be level 99 and still be dragoon level 1. Dragoon levels are gained after you have got a set amount of SP with the attacks of that character.

@CrystalDemonSword I believe i killed a couple Blue Birds between the Valley of Corrupted Gravity and Home of the Gigantos. They have 5 HP, very high evasion, tend to run away and usually only take 1 damage per hit. But they give 1000 EXP per kill. (Use the Magic Signet Stone to get some free shots on them.)

but if you notice most of doels magic minus the shield of course deals massive damage to one or all three of the party chars and haschel well your lucky for him to do damage in the 200-300 range at level 2 dragoon

My discs were damaged to the point that disc 1 would, around 80% of the time, freeze when I beat doel. Disc 2-3-4 I could never use any dragoon magic or the game would freeze. Somehow made it all the way to the final boss which I could never beat because when dart would use his final attack, divine dragoon cannon which is a magic spell, the game would then freeze.

see this is why you have to complete the flower storm addition before you fight doel makes the fight a lot easier.

The Signet Stone is found in the Marshlands, in a box on top of one of the swamp trees. and the accessory Albert is wearing is called the Therapy Ring, I think that is in Hellena the second time you go there. Anyway, my group level 17-18 here with More & more, Crush Dance and Flower Storm fully mastered. Even saved up for an Ultimate Wargod for Albert. Also had Dart & Al at Lvl 5 Dragoon and Rose at Lvl 4. Thing is... I think Doel was stronger than in this video to be harder at my party's level.

ive beaten this game several times and i can tell you, this game was a challenge at first but as i progressed, it became a lil easier along the way. the final boss was a pain in da ass. he was easy but there were far BEYOND too many transformations. i believe he called them generation transformations. his attacks were weak and he left himself open far too much.

Wahahaha. I spent ages training before this battle. My Dart had level 4 dragoon, Rose and Albert both had level 3 dragoon, and I'd mastered Albert's Flower Storm addition. Yep. Days well spent. Also, this game is absolutely amazing to play on PSP.

yea she is. but shes actually kinda easy to beat. just attack at first. then start guardin afterwards. this throws off the damaage of her attacks and can keep you alive without using healing items. if you want you can go dragoon but you would pretty much b wastin your time.

I had Rose, Dart and Albert and goodness this boss was hard. At the end, only Rose was alive, and I was like "GO FOR BROKE!", and her attack was the final blow. What a total relieve.

@CrystalDemonSword Oh wait kinda derped. For this fight i killed a few Cursed Jars between Lohan and the Dragon Nest. Same deal as with the birds, just they have 4 HP and give 300 EXP.

This boss can be annoying because when I fought him he spammed the hell out of the attack where he throws his sword up in the air, slashes your party then throws the ball of energy at you with his sword

if u keep using ur additions and pick the 1 that gives the most SP u can lvl ur dragoon spirts faster i had darts D spirt at lvl3 b4 drake at the shine place

how come i get more dammage with that magic sword thing when he doel is a dragoon himself? i see here u get like maximum 70dammage while i get 200(with albert) and though my lvl is higher then yours... plz help?

when he becomes a dragoon his magic attack increases, also if you use rose storm you take half damage (the same as when you use 'guard') for 3 turns, that's how hes ony taking 70-100 damage

Hey do you grind to level up, i dont plan it but when im closing in on a new level i tend to just look for random fights since im so close. And how the hell does any1 beat those creatures that cant be hurt by anything like those pots? You said sig stone do u mean when i get 1 i can fight them?

to train fast go to the road between lohan and the dragons nest and find the cursed jars, you will need the signet stone which you can get from somewhere in the marshlands (cant remember where anymore). when you find a cursed jar attack it once, then use the signet stone, then continue attacking, you wont be able to get every single one but the training is a lot faster than grinding normal fights, its the same strategy for all the monsters that only take 1hp per hit

I think it would have been better if he was the playable violet dragoon in the game he looks way better than hachel and even kanzas. Besides his attacks are also good specially that shield he puts when he is nearly dead is a good defense.

this battle lasted forever for me because I made the mistake of not taking Haschel out of the party. oops.

haschel is actually a better pick for this fight than albert for 90% of players, the only thing that makes albert useful in this fight is the rose storm damage reduction, if you don't it right and manage his mp then hes basically useless in the fight, on my first run through of the game I couldn't beat this boss until I switched out to use haschel, seeing as I could get perfect dragoon additions most of the time the 'special' wasn't really that much of an advantage

I know this video is from a long time ago and you probably weren't playing to "power game", but why would you use level 1 crush dance for a boss, surely you've maxed out burning rush or at least volcano

I know I'm late but Burning Rush does shit damage Volcano is far better damage wise if crush isn't maxed in which case Crush Dance is better because it has the same damage but better sp if it's maxed

melbu was dissapointingly easy, and I wasn't even using the best team setup (dart miranda meru), kinda sad if you find the last boss ridiculously easy when you aren't playing to make everything easy

Dude by the time melbu met my party in combat they all were suped up with the best armor. Armor of legend, legend casque, and I believe everyone had the full addition ring on. We wasn't anything.
