yeah i almost crapped my pants the first time lol. He is one of my favorite characters of all time, not so much a villain, he was dynamic. I also love what he says after you beat him.

Most epic boss...EVER!! God, characters like this were why Wild ARMs was so much better than the rest of the series. Not to mention how the music is always perfect for the occasion. Nice fight, I would've saved that last phazer bullet since Rudy was about to be condition green to get one more fury shot with it; but well played overall. Btw, liked the names you gave Cecilia's spells. :P

The one in the remake looks more fitting, from his settings appropiate western nature to a far demonic appearance. This one look like a generic ninja. The music is better there as well.

Really lucky is right. Usually when I fight him he does Shadow Boomerang Maximum every 2nd turn, or that Zero Count Execution causes instant death :(

I beat this Boomerang Flash by following a walkthrough online. And I just fought him with having a couple of Goat Dolls equipped. Same with the other powerful Bosses.

@Cinzia7Blight I'm pretty sure Boomerang Flash just shows up in the arena after a certain point in the game. I know I beat Angol Moa but I can't remember where he's at for the life of me. Rago Ragla, I know I beat him too and I'm pretty sure he's the one where you have to use the dash to bounce yourself off the wall into those teleporters that bounce you off the satellite and randomly you'll go into the satellite, which is Rago Ragla's dungeon/prison.

wait - I thought you did - couldn't tell what half the spells were since you renamed them all, but I thought the Goat Doll was the thing that brought your character back after taking a fatal hit -- like your characters did MANY times ...

How was Three Bandages Obtained? Is it something for only European/Japanese versions not available to North American Versions? If I remember correctly in the original American version Boomerang gives Jack Doom Bringer a (Probaly a Khopesh style Sickle Sword) implied to be from) Emma/Lady Harken who was Jack's Mentor. "Doom Bringer" gave Jack Automatic "WORST" Luck. Insta-Kill 20% of the time; But teleporters brought you to the Super Boss Ragu Ragula's Domain. Beating Ragu Ragula's Domain could net you a few Fish Badges; Frog Badges; and Sheriff Badges {Damage Immunity Type Accessories)

You can rename all of Cecilia's spells. When I played this I renamed all of them to something stupid. Iirc the base name is Remedy.

Same here, its pretty nice. I like the whole series and wild arms 3 is my favorite out of the bunch. I like wild arms 2 a lot also, not sure why its disliked by many people but I found no problems with it. I think 1 and 3 are better but 2 was better than 5. I never played the 4th one.

supposedly you have to have gotten up to the golem inside Ka Dingel in the Malduke area it is the one that gets sent to fight you if you step into the search light looking for you, once defeated him i think you can battle him in the Ancient Arena although it didn't happen like that for me i had to finish the Ancient Arena challange with monsters before fighting him next go at it. hope it's right and hope it helps

how come he is doing so much less damage to you? im in my high 50s and he deals upto just over 3300 when he does the all member attack which when i first versed him he pulled that off as soon as we begun

Goat dolls make this battle too easy at least in Alter Code F goat dolls don't really exist and he has double the HP. Though in ACF he's even easier to kill since Sleep can effect him.

I only use Goat Dolls on the first turn to actually prevent Cecilia or Jack dying on the first turn until I set up Soul Guard.

There is also a secret boss in the ancient arena, but outside of the actual arena, Angol Moa. To get to Angol Moa you first need to go to the other side of the arena (the side where Duke Pegucci is sitting), after that up the stairs. Here you should see a blue mirror, if you punch it using the Power Glove it will break and reveal a secret path. Just walk straight forward and open the 5 sealed doors (you'll need 5 duplicators for this) and walk past the stone tablet into the next room. Walk to the edge in the middle and a text will appear "There is a psychic force attacking! Do you want to sit it out?". If you answers "yes" you'll enter a battle with Angol Moa.

I love this game. When I went to the battle arena, it's when I discovered using Jacks (i forgot what its called but Lady Harken has the same move) and I increased his power using Cecilia so he did 9999 damage each time

IIRC (and grain of salt, WA1 is one of my favorite games but it’s been a while since I’ve played it) it went something like this: Mariel’s brother was some kind of Elw prodigy weaponsmith whose desperation to end the war with the Metal Demons 1000 years ago was so great that he forged his desire into a sword - that was the original Guardian Blade. Before it could be truly used it ran amok somehow and left a great scar (a massive desert) on the surface of the planet before disappearing (likely falling into the planet, getting swallowed up by the desert, whatever - point is that it was gone and considered irretrievable, before it just faded into legend). The blade Rang has is stated to be “made” from Luceid, the Guardian of Desire, so we once again have a weapon formed out of pure desire (specifically desire to be victorious in war/combat), so the origin of the GB you get from beating Rang is very similar to the original GB, but whether it’s a new weapon that’s considered to be identical or actually the same object I think is up for debate, and meant to be ambiguous. Still, it’s not as though the one you get and can equip on Rudy is powerful enough to wreck a planet, but given one of WA1’s themes is war drives fighters on both sides to develop terrible weapons that can irreversibly damage or destroy civilization, that’s probably for the best (and Rudy being the JRPG’s best good boi wouldn’t wanna use it anyway 😄).

Not true... even with max stats. that attack does henious damage.... hence the goat dolls. BF on the other hand isn't as fierce but lighting fast (and still has a nice wallop)

Need to be higher level to be able to fight him on an even ground, I fought him in my 70s and it was quite easy, it's not fun to fight him at level 99, that makes it too easy.

I really wasn't all to fond of three mainly the same reason 5 got a low rank too was cause in those arms were common and in the games 1 and 2 they were special weapons and also the storyling was rather well cookie cutter in my opinion.
