I don't think it's futuristic. It's tech that's pretty much the norm these days. The most complex parts of EVs remain the batteries. As for proper handling, i.e. mechanical engineering, that's been pretty much perfected by legacy auto makers for decades now. Innovation is building on the successes of the past and continually improving upon them.

Props to the exterior designer Nader Faghihzadeh. He's the genius that also designed the timeless BMW 6 series (F06) that still looks stunning. Can't believe it's a 13 year old design. He deserves more credit. He also designed the outgoing BMW 7 series G12, which in my opinion, in LCI form, is the best looking 7er ever made. Avatr is killing it.

@collller China is the biggest EV market in the world with the most EV startups by far so it's understandable that EV competition is fierce. But Changan is state owned and Huawei is big so it should be fine in the long run. Also both of them basically just came to market so may be a bit premature ? We'll have to wait and see.
