From typical Sour grapes USA , these are all security threats, must apply 100% tariffs or they must be banded, as only inferior, expensive, low tech, minimal comfort EVs are allowed to be purchased in USA. Ironically it is the US / European people that suffers always, not the politicians, so where is the freedom to choose from the land of freedom?? in comparison, I would know, as I have seen those EVs and currently own Porsche Taycan Electric and BMW I4 M50, they are both great cars but nothing like the Avatr12 and Xiaomi SU7 ( which i will consider buying when in Chinea next yr ) in Comfort, superior high tech, intuitive driving tech....... and of course outragiously affordable at fraction of the price, no brainer for me at least.

My personal opinion about China's economic situation, is that China have just more KnowHow in the electified Automotive sector as european or american manufacturers... Nice. I just don't like the passive-aggressive attitude. E.g. in how to pronounce Xiaomi, how it would be "stupid" to say it is copying Porche, while it does, how this is the "competition" milestone, while China is aggressively attacking commercially other countries to selectively weaken their industrial sectors, to get political advantage, and so on. This guy resemble at times alarmingly how one would imagine someone playing along with a dictatorship. Not saying politics shall be always a priority (well, it IS quite important), but doing along with a dictatorship jailing democratically protesting persons (see Hong Kong), shall be done with a less aggressive attitude.
