The reason I wanted to play Star Rail and skipped Seele to pull and win my 50/50 just once for a change. Now, I did actually win the 50/50, got Jing Yuan and raised him so he does nice damage. If I wouldn't want to safe for future characters I would have tried getting either his lightcone or eidolons, because he looks so good and my boy does have a great english voice, just sayin'

That's why I find it funny (and fun) using Jing Yuan against Cocolia for weeklies. Now there's TWO giant dudes in the sky beating her down. Also wanted to add in, originally I was not planning on playing hsr, but then the voice showcase for Jing Yuan came out, and your performance as him not only immediately changed my mind but also made me pre-register *that. Day.* Didn't even touch Seele's banners. Saved up every piece of jade and every limited ticket. Won my 50/50 for him and got his lightcone from guaranteed after a very very early surprise from Welt. Hoping to eventually E6 him. Also, my. God. Just watch them have Hayden voice Jingliu in-game, and then release her and then alternates for her and Jing Yuan. ............. As much as I adore Cyyu, I do find this type of video can be such a bad influence for so many. Spending that much money and obviously to have slight worries on stream and yet to continue isn't the best advertising. Too many go into debt because of gambling and I'm sorry but gatcha is a form of gambling.

He wasn't encouraging anyone else to do this though. He was only doing it himself because he voices the character, so ofc he was going to E6 Jing Yuan. Everyone else gets their gacha addiction from watching his pulls without having to actually pull and spend money themselves, which is a win-win. People who are going to whale will whale regardless of what Cy Yu does, and even if Cy Yu didn't stream his pulls he would've whaled anyway. Cy Yu wasn't going into debt, he had self-control and stopped himself from S5ing the Light Cone because he knew he wanted to save money despite some of chat trying to pressure him into doing so.

My brother went into debt as he was influenced by watching others do things like this. That is why I don't like it. People have to take responsibility and not stream it.

@@poppythecat454 that makes sense, but unfortunately, as long as gacha games like this exist, content creators will stream their summons on them, because that's how they get a lot of their money. The only way to stop it is to ban all gacha games, but that won't happen.

@rl6321 I don't have any problems in general with people getting things on gatcha games (even I do in small quantities). I think streamers don't think how much influence they can give to some. I disagree that pulls with that amount of money in place should be streamed. That could easily be done in privacy and then the characters won can be shown go on stream later. As you said, gatcha started it but streamers now must take a little responsibility of what they are showing. Sadly, my brother isn't alone in the world and it destroys families.

@@poppythecat454 I think it might be a good idea for him to give a warning about not spending in drastic quantities if you can't afford to before the pulls, but most people won't whale just because he's whaling, and will be satisfied with just watching. It's like how lots of people watch TV shows that contain murder and violence, but most of those people don't then go on to be serial killers. There's always the risk of that happening, but in most cases it doesn't. I'm sorry that that happened to your brother, though.

Watched the whole stream, I gotta say it makes me really glad with my personal luck in my play, because wow that was rough to watch, at least you got the majority of the 5 stars! Edit: Also I really love your performance on Jing Yuan, I didn't knew that a voice actor would stream this game and be so involved into the Hoyoverse titles as a fan as well as I only came to see how an E6 pull would look like, while I play with Japanese dub, I do like rewatching the game on other languages on online videos (I would normally do 2 playthrus on each dub but I won't for this game because gacha ^^"), I like how all of you guys shed different light to the characters in the game.
