Have had my Jaguar for a few years and the iron sights are perfect out to 200 yards, at our range we have steel 6”,8”,10” plates at 50, 75,100, 150 , 175 and 200 yards, every Sunday morning I put 5-10 rounds on each steel plate and the rear sight is perfect,

I have to experiment more with mine but I'm good to 50 so far but that's all my junky eyes can give me lol

I have a jaguar,added egw picatinny rail.shoots one hole groups.also added better bolt knob from anarchy outdoors.great gun,love it.

I was thinking about the 415 rail but that EWG sounds very nice too. I'll look into the bolt knob. How hard was it to get off?

I had no problem getting the knob off.used blue lock tite when putting the new knob on.Anarchy outdoors was great to deal with.

I have a CZ 457 Jaguar… I managed to get see through rings and a Vortex scope.. the see through rings mean you can use the scope or the iron sights depending on range etc.

I'm debating on wether or not I want to do that. I want the height over bore to be as low as possible. I've only shot mine with iron sights so far but I picked up a 6-20x50 scope that comes with see thru rings so I'll see how that looks. I need to pick out a rail for it though.

Beautiful rifle. Are there any options for rear sights being moved even further to rear of receiver? Target sights I’m thinking.

One would probably have to drill and tap new holes for the rear sight to go into.. I'm not sure if I'd want it any further back due to the barrel being 28 inches and the right radius being as far as it is already. It might blur the sight picture. I do plan on scoping it but I'm saving for an Area 415 mount.

The fastest I've shot was Winchester Super X. There's a couple different varieties of them but the one I shot was the 1435 fps kind. They come in 100 rd red plastic boxes. I recently picked up some of the Norma Speed 22 but I have yet to try it. Once I get. Scope mount for it I have a 6-20x50 scope I'd like to do an ammo comparison with. Stay tuned!

I like cz rimfire rifles a lot, I have a a few with the 28+ inches, i don’t have the jaguar yet

28" barrel is pretty long for a 22LR. I just had to try it. I'd like to get a chronograph and see if there's any drag that happens with certain loads after 20+ inches. I think Paul Harrell did something on that but not fully sure if he was able to get something with 28 inches tested

Once I get it scoped up I'd like to do some ammo testing. I have quite a few different kinds but I have a feeling it's going to like hyper velocity stuff because of that long barrel but who knows. I need to get a chrono yet. Thanks for tuning in! I may do a video about my Lux in 17HMR!

My brother, I am a rabbit and bird hunter. Is the Jaguar rifle effective for this purpose? Is it accurate to hit the target? Please advise me because I want to buy something similar. What do you think?

My 452 Ultra has a much nicer blued finish. Personally think that CZ is cheaping out with the " Upgrades " Always for the bottom line.

That's why I got the Lux to go along side of it. Although it has a 24 inch barrel compared to the 28 inch that the Jaguar has

Just tried the Jag and the Lux out today with iron sights at 50. They are straight shooters! I can't believe how quiet the Jag is with CCI Standard lol

@@bushytaildown I've shot it with just irons so far at about 50 ish at some random targets in the woods with no film to show for it.. It will squirrel though that's for sure. I need to get a scope mount for it but I haven't decided which way to go.

@@bushytaildown it makes the sight picture stay put and it's basically like it's own suppressor if you just run standard velocity out of it lol. I shot some red rattler hyper velocity out of it and I bet she would push em past 1450. Maybe even into the 1500 range which is super stoopid for 22 lr. But I'll be sure to do an ammo test and see what's best in it. So far nothing has missed lol. I put the sights on and it hits it.
