I've been collecting CZ rifles for about 30 years or so, and the premium model is just beautiful when I got mine. I was just going to keep it in the box as a little investment, but after seeing some of my collectors' friends passing away and their surviving families didn't care about the collection instead they sold everything I decided to shoot all my guns in the collection and enjoy them, CZ makes excellent rifles and the 22 premium is a perfect example.

Still shooting my 452 since the mid 90’s. Seeing this rifle is making me think I might be needing a new 457 as well. Thanks for sharing. Nive video.

462 is a classic.. if you end up buying the 457 you won't regret it though.. I love this rifle.

Nice rifle my friend! I to am a fan of CZ rimfires. I have a CZ Royal that shoots like a target rifle and has that custom rifle appearance! Thanks for sharing this Premium version with us!

Great review, thank you. I just held a varmint and a premium today in the shop. I was keen on the varmint but the premium just felt so good to sholder and point. I think I prefer the premium now.

Have exactly this firearm in 22mag. Love it! I also have a CZ 457 Jaguar, liked it so much I bought one for my lovely wife.

Left handed! I'm envious. When they first released them they didn't have a left handed option.

Very sweet rifle, a friend let me loose on his. My tackdriver .22LR is a Ruger heavy barrel with compation chamber. My CZ 527 is in Grendel, these are fine shooters

Great video and great rifle, but a Savage Mark II TR or FV will bough shoot just as tight groups at 50 yards, at a much lower price. I have the TR and even with my 75 year old eyes have shot groups 1/2" . Also watched a video of a father daughter, father shooting a Mark II FV and daughter shooting a target CV they bough shot bough rifles and bough rifles shot great tight groups at 50 yards. The daughter shot the tightest group using the Mark II FV, not by much but did edge our over the CV. I was looking at the CV and love the quality but when my Savage Mark II TR shoots just as good, is it worth the extra money, also see a video where a man has bough rifles and finds him self picking up the Mark II TR more often than the CV. I am still thinking about the CV for the beauty and quality, but a hard decision, a lot of money for just beauty.

Hello and thanks a lot for this practical video. I would like to buy a CZ 457 22WMR, but I need to know about the material which its bolt made from. It seems to me that back side of the bolt is made from plastic. Am I right? Generally, is there any plastic part exist in these models?
@geomall10 ай бұрын
Hello thanks for the question..just to clarify..there is NO plastic on this rifle.. most of the rifle accessories are made of aluminum, and the stock is Turkish walnut (keep in mind the front sight is made of a type of fibre, to help obsorb light).
@M8Military10 ай бұрын
The bolt is stainless steel

I'll stick to my 452's thanks. The " Upgrade " to the 455 and 457 is purely for the upgrade to the bottom line of the company. Cheaper and faster is the theme of the day.

Straighten your cap, it takes away the beauty of the rifle.
@geomall8 ай бұрын
Are you referring to my baseball cap? I placed it back because the lighting was hard and would have deep shadows on my face.. but I sm not the model..the CZ 457 take the credit on that one 😊

You say it’s not blued can you explain nor the finish on metal?
@geomall10 ай бұрын
The barrel is a blued finish coating constructed with cold forged steel for added strength.. (I apologize for the confusion)

The finish on the CZ457 is nitride not blued. Very durable
