CZ 75 D PCR Compact

First new purchase of 2021, sweet little compact shooter from the excellent lines of CZ 75 family.
The only mods I've done is swapped out the factory grip with VZ Grips.

Classic pistol. Aluminum frame is great. Cannot find any other companies making traditional double-action pistols like this. Beretta & CZ are really the only choice at this time. Sig switched production to modular plastic pistols. Kimber does not make double-action. Too bad other companies aren't making good quality aluminum frame pistols. So tired of plastic pistols. I got mine a few weeks ago. I've got about 200+ rounds through it, mostly my reloads (some problems, not the gun's fault) and some factory loads including hollow points (flawless). I'm fighting with drifting the rear sights to get the windage right, but that's my only complaint. The trigger and decocker are starting to wear in and smooth out. It fits my hand pretty well but not as well as my HiPower. It doesn't group nearly as well as my HiPower or some of my 1911s, but that may just be me getting a feel for it. All things considered, I love it and feel blessed to have it. Once I get the windage dialed in I will go to work on shrinking my groups. By the way, there are metal guide rods out there for this pistol. They are offered in stainless as well as titanium. I got a titanium rod, but haven't installed it yet because so far the plastic rod is working just fine (I just don't like plastic!) Nice video, thanks for sharing!

Hey man, I have that same CZ 75 D PCR Compact for 4years now and still shoots accurately and today I just finally replaced the sights. I placed a Truglo TFX tritium fiber optic night sight and I love it more than ever. I love the stock rubber grips but I like the color of that VC grips you have.

I got myself one for Christmas! I am putting a LOK carbon fiber set of grips on it, some Dawson fiber optic sights and the Cajun Gun Works pro trigger package. I bought a full sized 75B right before Christmas and it already had the Cajun trigger work and I really liked it so had to put it on the compact. I also went for another CZ, the 97BD and it is fantastic straight out of the box. If you are looking for a 45 ACP I highly recommend it. CZ recently announced they were discontinuing the 97 so if you can find one, I recommend getting it. Enjoy your new addition!

Nice video, I've got the all steel classic CZ-75 compact and love it. If you check CZ custom website, you can order a stainless steel guide rod. It dosen't shoot any better, but I like it for the looks.

I've read several times that a steel guide rod will deform the aluminum frame. I haven't called cz about this yet but I waited about that part till I call.

Absolutely the most accurate pistol I've ever owned (and I've owned plenty). Never pwned a full-Size CZ-75 (I wish), I'm sure they are even better. SP-01 rail (and accessories if mounted) totally destroy the natural balance of the Cz-75 compact. I've held Cz-75B full-size pistols; nothing feels better in the hand.

Good video. Memorial day sale at SW, couldn't decide if I should even get another pistol. 75 compact and PCR compact both on sale. At the last minute I picked them both up. Also, I have the 2018 Tacoma, took out the back seat so I could carry dogs or cargo better.

A plastic guide rod works as well as steel. Never had one fail on my Glocks or CZ’s. Just hype IMO .

I have a CZ P09 manufactured in 2014. In the box with the owners manual and warranty came this "Hit pattern chart" I guess that's the way CZ tests the firearm before its shipped? Kind of neat! Is CZ Including the "Hit pattern chart" with the PCR? Great video. Thank you.

I am a new owner of the CZ PCR and considering getting thin grips. But the rubber factory grips seem to absorb recoil. Did the wood grips change the recoil you felt?

Hi, the hard grip is surprisingly comfortable to shoot and absorb recoil nicely. The factory rubber grip is comfortable as well but doesn’t fit my hand as nicely as the new grip
