This is a great review! I have this custom pistol and I love it. I put the standard rubber grips from the CZ shop on and it’s my favorite gun, the smooth action is second to none, I’m so glad I got one, it will stay in the family forever. And again great review, I’ve never been able to find any good reviews, idk why this hasn’t popped up sooner due to the amount of research I do on KZbin. But it’s the best review I’ve found by far. Well done and thank you 🙏🏼

Your Performance Model is no longer available, only the base line Model with a saftey switch or decocker Model are available . Now it's called a convertible , I've seen guy's say the opposite parts from the way it was shipped were included, that's no longer available either. You get it the way it comes only .

Your right about the grips getting hot, but this gun can be carried safely in DA.

Back in Christmas, I had received a CZ-75 Shadow 2 Blue, and when I picked it up it melted into my hand like shaking hands with an old friend. I prefer the Shadow 2 ergonomics (with the extended safety) over the SP-01 Shadow but not by a gigantic amount. The trigger on the Shadow 1 Target 2 however did make me incredibly jealous, so I decided to order a Cajun Gun Works Pro-Package for my S2 with the T5 disconnector, CZ Custom hammer, and a polished hammer strut to go with a reduced power trigger return spring, 13lbs mainspring, and 11lbs recoil spring. After matching my Shadow 2 to the SP-01 Shadow 1 Target 2’s trigger specs (different custom shop parts), I have to say that I agree.. That trigger is THE best trigger I’ve ever felt my entire life… The pre-travel is almost non existent, the trigger poundage is perfect, the double action is like butter smooth, and the reset is 1911 short… CZ Custom and Cajun Gun Works make phenomenal parts to turn already decent pistols into the Top 5 of all time maybe!

Love my SP01 (I put the 85 Combat trigger in mine, LOK palm-swell grips and changed the main/recoil springs to a 12#/15# combo I believe) would LOVE to have a Shadow Target. Awesome review.

I was lucky enough to find one of these used at Sportsmans Warehouse and I don't believe they knew what they had because the price was $950 and it looked unused. Actually I also had no idea what it was, but I tried the trigger and knew something was special about it. I also noticed the CZ Custom stamp on the right side so I bought it.

My Shadow 2 came with the large safety and the normal flush FIT safety yes the Shadow 2 weighs 46 Oz compared to spo1 Shadow Target 2 at 41 Oz

Are the grips and the grip frame of the gun different from the regular Shadow 2? In the video it almost looks like they are different profiles.

+Simpson Rd Larry - good eye, yes they are. The grip geometry of the SP01 Target 2 is different. It allows for a more natural hold of the pistol and your hand can go deeper and higher into the grip.
