Great video, GREAT RIFLE!!!! I have gone to A LOT of gunshows in my life (about 200 or so) over the last 40 years maybe MORE and I only remember seeing ONE of those BRNOs, I've owned 2 #1s, 1 #2 and 1 UAR that I had to FIX because someone got the idea to modify it and not do a very good job finding original parts!!! LOVE MY 22LRS, ALL OF THEM NEW AND OLD ONES!!!😊

I'm JEALOUS, you have the old TARGET RIFLE. It did come with Globe front sight and a nice peep that you would see on a Palma rifle. I saw one about 30 or more years ago at a gunshow in Charlotte's Metrolina Fair Grounds. I'm trying to remember how much it was, I couldn't afford it back then otherwise I would have BOUGHT IT. I LOVE MY CZ's. I have a BRNO MODEL 2 made in 1972 and a molested UAR made BRNO #2 (BARREL CUT TO 20" AND THE REAR TANGENT REMOVED) but it still SHOOTS GREAT. I haven't seen another TARGET BRNO since and I've been to about 100 gun SHOWS at least, I'll travel as much as 100 miles to go to a big show. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO IT ALLOWED ME TO SEE WHAT ONE OF THOSE RIFLES CAN DO. 😯😁👍

Left side of the receiver and barrel will both have a two digit date stamp beside of a proof mark. That Model 4 is likely between 56 & 58, meaning between 1956 & 1958. The sights would have been fully adjustable rear target sights and a globe front with interchangeable inserts. Or, it could have had a tangent rear sight mounted on the slots in the barrel.

Theres a bolt action rifle that looks like that. Norinco jw105. 223 / 556 and its a cheap rifle but it shoots and I like it. I might have to get it just because its a 223 bolt action. And it looks pretty cool with a wood stock and red dot sight. Might get it because my bullet store hass alot of 223 right now. And I want a small bolt action for deer hunting. Be 20$ cheaper than the 243. Bullets im forced to get.

Until the model 455, CZ did not change anything. Magazines have not changed since the nazis had BRNO make the model 1 for a training rifle. After the war the Russians didn’t change anything anything but using a beechwood stock for the model 2.

There is one for sale on GB for $1040 which i feel a ridiculous price. which puts you in Win 52 and Anschutz and Kimber price range. People have a warped sense reality as to what .22s are worth because you can buy a new CZ 457 MTR for $820 with a match barrel and beautiful wood and a round count of zero.
