@@loquat4440 if I'm not mistaken the p226, Beretta m9, and cz75 all use the same magazine body (at least the mec-gar ones, which is an OEM manufacturer for those three). The mag catch can be placed in a different location tho. While the CZ 75 mags fit in the the p09/07 and lock in place, they a thinner, so it isn't "true" comparability. All new P10 and P09 mags are the same however, that is why there is multiple magazine catch cuts in the tube. These are the "next gen" CZ magazine and are slightly wider than the 75 mags (99.9% sure about this claim), which is why the p09 has 19rds vs 17rd in the 75 and roughly the same length. That is my understanding at least, and while I am confident in all of those claims, please fact check. I wouldn't swear under oath to any of that

If you want a large window with an RMS/K footprint, try the Zerotech Halo.😂 It is huge, 28mm, horizontal oval shape with an aspheric (super crisp) lens, but it is definitely not built for CCW though I do carry it on a different gun. I think Zerotech is still running a $120 discount if you send them and old red dot (pistol, AR or Rifle style) or crosshair scope ($100 for for optic and $20 to pay for the shipping of your old red dot/scope). It is unique, so you may or may not like it. I love it, just wish they had a multi-reticle, 6 moa or 8 moa. They only had a 3 moa dot when I bought mine a month (+/- a week or two) ago.

Seems that the P09F has the same optic footprint cut. It's unfortunately the issue with all these different optic footprints in modern times and where for one person this direct K footprint is perfect and for others it will be a compromise. This optic cut is still miles better than the Glock MOS cut. IMO, I can't see that the P09 C has any different recoil than a typical P07 Gen 2, which has always been fine with me, If people are expecting P01 and Shadow 2 compact recoil from a Compact polymer CZ hammer fired pistol, they have a poor understanding of weight and recoil. As usual a great review without holding punches and giving the good the bad the ugly without sugar coating it.

And hey man, if that’s your thing, I’m all for it. I literally have nothing negative to say about that. For me personally, unless I was shooting a steel plate competition as I will occasionally do I really don’t care much about the trigger because it is what it is, a reviewer I do not have the option of just not buying a gun because I don’t like the trigger because if I do not review the things people want to see or the newest and latest then as a channel, I will not be relevant. I have learned to take what I was given and just train around it and get used to whatever trigger I was given. The only time that I complain about a trigger is if it is extremely gritty, I hate that with a passion it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Or if a trigger rides too high off the bottom of the trigger guard and my finger becomes pinched on its travel back forward that will aggravate the piss out of me, but as far as reset, and the weight of pool, take up and that type of thing I just train around what I was given when I made the purchase

There is no warning in the manual against dry fire, but the internet does claim that dry fire will do in the trigger retaining roll pin. Any opinions over the matter. All that is there is: Unloading the Pistol ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE PISTOL IS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION! -Remove the magazine -Draw back the slide and verify the last cartridge has been extracted from the chamber and ejected -Let the slide snap fully forward -Depress the trigger (dry fire)
@GSquaredTactical2 ай бұрын
Right I don’t think I said that the owners manual stated that. I said CZ doesn’t recommend it and that’s because I reached out to them after a viewer said that and I called CZ, USA to get the scope and they said it’s not recommended. Likely wouldn’t cause damage but there’s a chance and to just use the provided snap caps. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

No company recommends dry firing any pistol hammer or otherwise. We do it anyways as what's the point in having a hammer fired pistol if you can't dry fire and work the kinks out. I've done it to all my double action hammer fired pistols snap cap or not and never broke anything. They all fire to this day.
@GSquaredTactical2 ай бұрын
@driftitlikeyouownit I have as well but I can’t say that in the video because it’s my neck on the line not everyone commenting. Duty sized guns should be able to mount duty sized optics like the RMR, 507, and Delta Point Pro, (on CZ’s website it says both guns will mount a DPP, but according to them it’s a “typo”). The P-09C and F both have the same optic footprint. I absolutely dig the P-07 and P-09! They are my favorite guns in the CZ line. This upgrade is 90% there, but being only capable of mounting micro optics on duty sized guns is a swing and a miss for CZ.😎✌️

I'd have no use for a pistol that is supposedly geared towards defensive use, that is not durable enough to withstand dry firing without snap caps. Very weird. I'd only seen that kind of a warning for rimfires, not centerfire pistols. Not sure exactly who this pistol is for, except maybe CZ fans.
@gurkagurkadurka66882 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure this is the case for every CZ75 derivative using that specific firing mechanism. I know it is recommended you use snap caps when dry firing the P01. And the P01 is one of the safest, most reliable handguns to ever go through NATO trials. It had a failure rate of like 0.05%. Meaning it had 7 misfires in 15,000 rounds. It is insanely reliable. More reliable than the Glock19. Despite that, it is still recommended you use snap caps when dry firing. I really dont get the rub. Hammer fired CZs are a pleasure to dry fire. You pop a snap cap in and you really dont have to rack the slide again until you want to remove it. You can practice drawing and firing without ever having to "reset" by racking the slide. Or you can stand there and practice trigger pulls without ever having to rack the slide. It's actually super nice. So I guess its for folks who want an incredibly safe, incredibly reliable sidearm (based on CZs history and the history of the specific P07/P09 platforms) and who also want ease of use when practicing at the house. It really aint a terrible choice if you think about it.
@dylanholbrook62392 ай бұрын
The firing pin retaining pin is designed to absorb the burnt and if you dry fire will have to be replaced. Or you can give the firing pin something to hit like it's designed to do

They can’t and won’t ever except your reasoning no matter how scientific it is and or true it is. It’s funny how or why they even click on the videos I can only assume it’s because they are insecure about their choice in firearms. The comment about it not being durable enough. I stopped reading right there because anyone who says that about a CZ has never owned one. If CZ had better marketing they would absolutely own the firearm world. I own 17 CZ pistols and besides my 7 H&K’s it’s the only brand in my safe that none of the 17 have ever one time for no reason ever malfunctioned and I’m the most critical person you will ever meet.
