600 rounds through mine with zero issue so far, and the trigger is very smooth now. I like it.

I got a lemon, multiple FTF with multiple types of good ammo right out of the box. It’s at CZ for warranty repair, hopefully it turns into a great gun, I have an 07 and 01, love them both.

Yes!!! I had an older P07, and I was always afraid to work on it. I traded it away (regrettably) and had a hard time finding a base P07. When they came out with the P09c, I had to have it. When I got it, I was surprised at how heavy the DA was, I honestly didn’t remember it being that heavy. My trigger gauge had it at 10lb 6oz. SA was 4lbs 4oz on average. I put a few hundred rounds through it, then ordered the MCarbo spring kit. Watched the YT video a few times. Broke out my Dremel took it all apart and got to polishing. Holy crap!! I know the trigger pull got lighter with the springs, but polishing it made it amazing. Thanks for the video sir!! Love being in AZ as well.

Yes, CZ over Glock any day. I liked your comment about CZ collections growing. I bought a used P-07 a year ago on a whim, had never heard of CZ before, and now have 6 with no duplicates. Only 1 Glock. My P-07 holster does not really work with the P-09C, does not lock in for retention.

The ultimate DA/SA w/ decocker carry piece IMO. It has FPB so not so scary to drop like Shadow 2 Compact. Like the other guy I feel safe carrying this appendix vs. striker-fired guns.

MCarbo 👍🏼I did my CZ75B following their video and had no issues.

I had a couple od CZ's and liked them a lot. The only one I have now is the PCR which I have no intentions of ever selling. It still amazes me that CZ can't install a stronger firing pin retaining pin. I paid $5.00 for one fropm Cajun Gun Works and was easy to install. For CZ to include snap caps for dry firing to protect the roll pin is ridiculous.

That does sound back asswards doesn't it? Like it would save them money as well as their good quality reputation to address the issue properly.

Oh, I found out my blue follower Mecgar CZ75 mags work perfect. Lock back on empty, and hold tight. That wasn’t the case with my old P07. I wasn’t an optic person either, until I started using them. Holy cow. I have a Cyelee Cat Pro green dot on my P09c now. It’s great.

The p07 is my favorite range gun. It takes p07, '75 and p10c & f magazines. I found that it will take 'some' canik tp9 mags too! mcarbo kit caused random light strikes so I put in the CGW extended Firing Pin but still random light strikes, so i put the OEM hammer spring back in which fixed the light strikes. Changed my DA from 6.1lbs to 8.5lbs and my SA from 2.1 to 2.9lbs. In retrospect, I like the heavier DA for safety sake. Trigger group polishing made the most difference, imo. The oem trigger was a gritty 11/5 that smoothed out after 500 rounds. Maybe next project will be the CJW short reset kit.

I picked up a p07 a few days ago because this pistol came out. The p07 has been on my list for a while and am not a fan of the redesign to the p09c. Since I also have a bad astigmatism i also don’t run red dots so no loss to me. So far 300 rounds through the p07 and it’s amazing.

I recently borrowed a friend's P09c Nocturne to make a video on. I carry a P07 that I've had milled. At some point I'll likely get the Nocturne. They are the PERFECT carry sized DA/SA. As an appendix carrier, I simply will not carry a striker gun. Good vid.

Lovely video. Very helpful as I am now choosing among these CZ’s. Thanks. If you’ll pardon the (subjective [military]) comment: I don’t think we can use the term “very accurate “ displaying a group shot at less than 25 yards.

Yeah I’m going to paint my dots on the sights as I did my P-07. Can’t see them good enough

How would you compare this one to the sp2022?

I've heard mixed things on holster compatibility. The profile on the front of the nocturne slide is wider and blockier than the 07 so it may not fit in most 07 holsters. Maybe it can fit if you loosen up the holster but then you'd probably be losing retention in the trigger guard area. I plan on getting an F model so hoping it fits in my tier1 07 rig. Also, how did you get the double action down to 5lbs? That sounds really light. I've heard of light strikes happening by lightening double action guns too much. How many rounds through yours after changing the trigger? No issues?

I personally got P-07 holster from Harry's Holsters, and it fits perfectly. No mention on their site that it's compatible with the P-09c, but I took a chance and it worked out. Might be the same for some other P-07 holsters.

You are right , my p07 holster was a little tight for my nocturne c but still worked, I ordered one from muddy river tactical since they are quick to come out with holsters pretty quick for new guns, the claw works wonders for conceal carry

The screw wasnt too long on the right side? Heard this was an issue.😂

The p07 had the green dots sights on its on my 2018 mod. So that's not new and does the checkering top of mag release really make difference no only difference is the looks and the optics ready that's it!!!!
