Thanks for the video. Do you have to remove the slide in order to remove the mounting plate?

No problem, happy to help! No you don’t have to remove the slide, but I typically do and put it in my vice to hold it in place.

Cool video, cz always makes some nice stuff. I definitely owe you one sir, your sfar videos prompted me to buy a borescope and check my barrel and it looked exactly like yours. I reached out to ruger and am waiting on a response now. Thanks!

Thanks! Yea I’m long this CZ pistol. Need some more range time, but 300 rounds down range so far. You’re welcome on the SFAR barrel info. You’d be better off calling their NC customer service number. You’ll get a live person pretty quick. New barrel is shooting great by the way! Much better.

The thought behind that plate is similar to Dove Adaptive Mounting Solutions plate; as far as integrating a rear sight on their plate.

It’s nice! It’s a 507 red circle dot. Been pretty happy with the Holosun stuff for the most part.

The one thing that bothers me about these red-dots is the fact you have to keep tightening the screws pretty often. I had one fly off on me. I like traditional sights on certain guns better than optics. Old school feel

I’ve yet to have one fly off. I always use blue loctite and a torque wrench to proper specs. Not saying it’ll never happen, but I’ve not experienced it yet.
