So no da pull weight for the sar p8s? It is way higher I hear. And you say the grips swap in an earlier question, but the screws look to be in a different place and the top of it grips are different shape. So to clarify will the Cz grips fit in the sar p8s frame?

These are aluminum cz75 cool grips and fit 100% without buggering around.

Im trying to figure out if the P8S has that annoying firing pin retention pin that the cz 75 has that wears out from use and dry firing?

No from my understanding, Tanfoglio first had a 100% 1:1 copy of a CZ75B. Then has a swiss gunsmith named Martin Tima redesign the firing pin block. ATA, ASAI, Sphinx, IMI, SAR and every other CZ clone are actually Tanfoglio clones. That is why you don't see the pin in the rear slide grip like CZ75 B. Or CZ clones look like CZ Pre-B or Shadow without the FPB. Get a P8S you will love it!

@@aarondavis8224 I think SAR makes a fine CZ clone. I love the full size grip of the P8S. With the shortage of ammo,, I only shot 300rds in it. So longevity? But my black SAR K2 45 and stainless steel have 1000s together. As well as my SAR K12 has over 3k or 4k and lots of dry fire.

That’s cool! I’ve never seen the semi compact before. Is it a compact slide, full size grip combo? What makes it semi compact? Also, it says Massada with two esses. Is that a misprint or a different word than Masada, which means plateau or mesa and is also the name of a gun made by IWI? Sorry for all the questions.

There were two 150 batches of Semi Compacts imported by Mikes Sporting Goods or something close. Two were for sale on GB last week. This one was an Israeli surplus, Massada is an Israeli word for an elite military group. Yes, is a full size grip 16-17 rounds and compact slide. This SAR P8S and the SAR K2 45 C is another semi compact. The ASIA ONE PRO and Jericho 941 C are two more semi compacts by the same definition. I have videos on all the CZ variants.

@@thedailyvue1095 trigger parts for SAR are Tanfoglio small frame parts. EGW, Patriot Defense, Henning, and Ben Soeger. With supply chain issues order from whomever has the parts you need or cheapest

These Semi-compact CZ are pretty rare but a guy is selling 2 on Gunbroker now that we're not Israeli surplus and more rare. I personally like the history.

How much does the ported barrel on the SAR P8S affect velocity compared to the non ported CZ?

No difference i can feel but you can see more fire, so i know it must lose a bit of velocity. Have you see the video where this is fully posished?
