Pequena cidade, mas muito bonita. Parece que as cidades tchecas são assim, belas e bem cuidadas, para fazer inveja aos demais povos, especialmente na América Latina. Abraços. Hier wurde ich geboren, bin jedoch mit meiner Familie im Jahre 1945 zunächst in einem am Buirgberg gelegenen Lager eingesperrt worden, um dann unter Zurücklassung aller Güter vertrieben zu werden.

Krnov is a very nice city, although I have never been there personally. Unfortunately, your case is not unique. I have a friend in Germany who was born on the way from Central Moravia to Germany during the deportation in 1945. It was a sad period of history...

@@steverumpler My great-grandfather is Johann Kienel (1854-1945), 1903 - 1919 he has been the mayor of this town. I am the only descendant of him, but I have 12 grandchilds.

@@steverumpler I know upon the fact that the tomb of my great-grandfather is preserved up to this day by the town of Krnov and nearby is sitated the statue of the angel of the former "Pharmacy of the white angel".

We are a bit similar. My great-grandfather's grave also still stands in Schemnitz in Slovakia. He was the director of the gold mine in Kremnitz at the beginning of the last century...
