I'd say that .44 Magnum FMJ is something that helmet was not supposed to stop. Thus it worked pretty well. Helmets are usually not designed to stop FMJ rifle rounds at close range. They are rather protection against fragments, maybe some long-range shots and ricochets.

the screw is attached from the outside, inside there is only the headstrap. it couldn´t be the screw, also it was very muschy not a single hole like from projectile, it was the force that wrecked the cabbage i think

Just how much game do you think people has taken using guns loaded with lead projectiles? Just look at all the fowl taken using bird shoot. Do you think no one ever chewed down on a pellet while eating one of those? I'm not saying lead is harmless, just that the way a lot of people talk about it you'd think it was as poisonous as say arsenic. Generally it takes exposure over time, or acute lead poisoning by stepping in front of a speeding bullet for it to be an immediate danger to you or your furry friends. Heck, before we learned just how poisonous lead is it was used in things like water pipes and soldering copper cookware. I seem to remember it being used to sweeten wine back in ancient Rome.

Nazdar, není to zas až tak něco specíálního. Standartní 3A helmu dneska dělá kde kdo. Ve vývoji a výrobě zbraní a armádní techniky jsme bývali mezi předními exportéry na světě. To co děláme dneska se bohužel nedá srovnat s rozsahem výrobků, které jsme dělali v minulosti. Od drobností do domácnosti po lodní šrouby a klikové hřídele zaoceánských lodí nebo reaktory pro JE.

one thing i noticed is that when shotting the last bullet out of the 9mm, at 4:27 the bullet must have ricocheted and kept its velocity cause you can hear it. I know it happens often, but to me, it sounds really cool, similar to a railgun charging or something like that.

A faulty experiment, they should have turn the helmet in order to test it in its original strength. They shot the helmet in the front all the times, that causes a structural weakening on the helmet hence a false result
