He's right. Some people even build their own from scratch, (Rare but it happens.) Full custom built interiors including dash. Full on carbon fibre refit where you take the panels off and replace them with carbon fibre ones or even kevlar. From kit car to Partial or total redesign where you make your own body using clay to make a finished design and form body panels using fibreglass or carbon fibre. Edit: This applies to Canada, not sure about the US. Many people don't like Honda's but that's because there's so many of them.

J Blob what you have is cool and fine because it’s unique and individual. Respecting someone’s car is like respecting them as a person, because they put their hard work and dedication and dare I say love into their builds. What’s annoying is ppl hating on Honda’s because they’re popular w/ ricers. In Japan, esp Osaka, Civics are respected for their racing heritage and have a whole culture behind them. Just because they have small engines and are economy cars doesn’t make them shit box ricers. People here need to learn how to accept and respect each other’s cars.

Cruising around and driving to the mountains then returning to the meet and drift a bit. If those meetings are weekly, then I think I should move to Japan.

Cool seeing 🚗 culture in JPN. From the days of people that brought Options magazine into school (late 80's). Hasn't changed that much.

THIS. The "Zender" Euro white-out scene was fading and people that could afford it were just discovering the JDM scene. I still have my Option mags from back then and even the master JDM catalog of Tuner packages [Trust, HKS Stage #], wheels, suspension bits, and body kits! Still even have the TRD bible from when Gardena [Meiji] had real JDM stores that sold more than the My Shaldon squash...Westwood cruising...SFV racing...good times

Anthony Thomas haha I used to hit up the muffler shop in Kearny Mesa where the owner was from Tokyo and would give me his old copies of Option2 and other mags every month. Couldn't read any of it but the pics were fucken worth a million bucks lol

"hello Evo..., Oh wtf" that was so funky. It's a bucket list thing of mine to go to daikoku PA someday. Although really glad Canada has a 15 year import law so we already see r34 Skylines :)
@HimmelWeint7 жыл бұрын
I know eh? Much better than the 25 years in the states. Quite pleased about that wish we didn't have any year restrictions though that would be sick.
@YamahaYZFR6RJ057 жыл бұрын
since i´m from germany, what is meant with that 15/25 year import law?
@HimmelWeint7 жыл бұрын
YamahaYZFR6RJ05 Exactly that you cannot import a car unless it is at least 15 years old and in the states the car has to be at least 25 years old. There are exceptions but that's basically the rule.

@SI0AX7 жыл бұрын
At the end he says it's in Wangan, a part of the Shuto expressway that is at the edge of the ocean shore.
@Instamatic8987 жыл бұрын
That's the Shuto you're looking at, Bayshore route. It's the spiral up out of Daikoku parking area where all of those sick cars hang out. The editing is all over the shop here, as it then cuts to some suburban car parking spot that looks nothing like Daikoku.
