This track and artist stood out among the many repetitive, over-sampled, soul-less, hard house songs that flooded the L.A. scene just after 1995. CZR, (IMO) was the only one making decent sounding hard house records. It was clear to see it was mostly influenced by the "Underground Goodies" versions of various Casual Records artists. However, often the songs hitting the clubs and airwaves were uncreative, cheesy, and boring. (That's why "those" djs mix in a new record every 20-30 seconds, because that's all the substance the song had for being 3:00-5:00 in length.)
I didn't like all of his releases, but he was certainly making a effort to come out with good stuff.
