Regarding the neo-nazi from Election Year: The flag tattoo is also facing the wrong way. Flag etiquette instructs that the flag should be attached with the header side (star side) facing the pole. The Thompson submachine gun (also known as the "Tommy gun", "Chicago typewriter", "Chicago piano", "trench sweeper", or "trench broom") is a blowback-operated, selective-fire submachine gun, invented and developed by United States Army Brigadier General John T. Thompson in 1918. They were used by federal law enforcement officers, gangsters, and even elite commandos, gangster only used them as a gamgland weapon ( reportedly) around 1925. Thd 1920s was called "The roaring 20's" bc the decade was characterized by economic prosperity, rapid social and cultural change, and a mood of exuberant optimism. The machine gun itsself was invented in 1884, Hiram Maxim built the first effective machine gun, which revolutionized warfare. The first Gun was made in 1607. Don't forget, the flowers are LITERALLY called "Baptisias", as in Baptism. Like how one is baptized at church, I was as a teen, my church sees it as a commitment that needs to be made by a person for themselves, so while they do baptize babies, they want you to do it again when you're old enough to choose for yourself, and the earlier baptism is seen as faithful protection from your parents until you're old enough to decide. That a society who always fight; itself or others, don't progress and can regress in their technological standings because those with the knowledge to make what is being consumed is also the type of people who are on the lower end of society; most likely targets of purge. This could lead to a regression in their knowledge due to breeding traits.

He's doing this new trend of compilations which has taken off this month due to the rumour that past videos will get deducted adsense money from them (starting from 5 years ago creations/video). Even though this is just a rumour, creators/YTubers are compiling all their past videos to combat this nullifying of their monetisation by YT. In the case of Laney Rucker from "Election Year" it is not military like you suggested. She was more likely a gang leader, a gun runner, or the person they called when they need someone taken out. The kids in the store would have been privy to the stories, considering they were delinquents and likey in the same gang or dating someone from it. There is even a small discussion about how Joe turned her life around and that she owed him. Joe himself was in a gang and would have seen potential in her to do more with her life just like Marcos. I do feel like the commentary on guns is pretty lazy with this considered. The reason our rights are protected under the Constitution is because they make it possible to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government, foreign and domestic. Self-defense and hunting are symptomatic of this key principle. The alternative to having our right to keep and bear arms is the inability to protect ourselves and rely on our government to encroach on our other rights, ultimately leading to tyranny and genocide. This has been reflected upon in history multiple times. Germany, China, North Korea, and in small steps we're seeing Australia being unable to stand up to its own government. A land of no laws is civil war. The reality is, our country does have laws, rights, and law enforcement. This movie more or less goes to show the outcome of unregulated violence and what would happen if we never confronted our government as a unifying country, essentially a network of state and local government enforced by federal government to neglect its responsibility to protect and serve. This would never be the case, as state and local government has a stronger connection to their home and would never enforce these types of toxic orders by the federal government. It's a propaganda movie riddled with inconsistent logic clouded by fantasy unfortunately used to fear monger "gun violence" when the statistics used by the left are stuffed with suicides, casualties due to accidents, gang violence, and self-defense. Mass shootings and criminal homicides being less than 20% of this "gun deaths" statistic that the left glitters over everything while not comparing our numbers with other countries that have gun restrictions and high poverty rates such as Mexico and Brazil.

I want a sequel where they capture the big evil politicians but just become the new bad guys. Total power corrupts, call it "The New Purge - Eat the Rich"

I've created my own loose headcannon to explain the technology differences in the movies: - people would most likely stop buying large expensive items to make themselves less of a target to attack / buy cheaper replacements as things will be stolen or damaged very fast _ most developments in technology would focus on weaponry, surveillance and security rather than everyday items as those markets have the most influence/power It's not a very solid theory but it helps a little

I still can't get over how this society would collapse after the first purge, human psychology wouldn't allow us to go back to normal and the purge wouldn't just stop because it's the next day. If you remove all rules it's extremely difficult and time consuming to restore them... we have multiple real life examples!
