I think this orchestral arrange is weird. In the origin, the intro was a build up of a coming danger, with a fast small loop of notes. In here it was gone and other fast phases later on are removed, that makes the whole melody plain and loss of contrast. A fast string of notes is a represent a fast changing in a battle field.
