Thank you for providing me the new sentences. Yes, most of the Japanese schools start the semester in Aprils. But why? I'm not sure. Probably, I think there's the historical reason there. The times the Japanese obsolete education system was born, you know, in 1800s, or when the Edo era ended and succeeded into the Meiji era. At the time, Japan is far poor country, compared to the other countries, for example, European and the US. Due to that, the Japan authorities which is representative by Ōkubo, Saigō, Kido, Itō and the Japan main leader, Meiji emperor were concerned about the future of Japan. Because they had a thought the children produce the future of recent country. In the thinking time of producing the education system, they surely the first semester is important both for the children and teachers. As a result, the most appropriate one is spring, or April. The Japanese government took a reference of the United Kingdom, but I wonder if the semester of the UK's schools is also the same or not? See you tomorrow.

Thank you sharing your knowledge why April is chosen as the new school semester. I think the UK, their school year traditionally starts in September, so it’s a bit different from Japan. But it’s interesting to see how historical and cultural factors influenced the timing of school terms in different countries.

Thank you for watching! In Japan, the age system starts in April, so when you go abroad, the grade level may change. In Korea, people born between January and March, who would be considered seniors in Japan, are the same grade as me.
