People come to museums to see different pieces of art while they’re unaware of being inside a piece of art (the building)
I admire Tadao Ando´s work. But this museum lacks the poetic, meditative spaces that he usually creates. The scale is brutal in this building. I know its a Museum about the history of civil engineering and flood control in japan. But I wonder why he didn't´t even put some trees or stone pieces as sculptures on the exterior patios. Nevertheless, he is a genius.
