I'm glad you liked it! We still have to learn a lot about video editing but we really enjoy showing all the great places we know in Japan.

Thank you! It's good to see that Ando Tadao still has a special connection to Osaka (his hometown).

I was surprised to see how much work he's done around Osaka. My favorite one is the Yumebutai on Awaji Island.

Working on this video made me realized how productive Ando Tadao has been. It's great to see so much of his work within short distances from Osaka where he was born.

What happens with 4x4 II, the one which were black? It's the second video where I can't see it.
@RediscoverTours3 жыл бұрын
Good question! When I filmed the video this spring, the 4X4 II was already gone! I will try to figure out what happened to it.
@RediscoverTours3 жыл бұрын
The 4X4 II was built in 2005 and demolished in 2014. Its wooden structure would not have supported the particular design of the house for a long period of time. But 4X4 I made of concrete is still in good shape!

@@RediscoverTours I'm curious about the way that message has been redacted. It's Ando-san itself who it's responding?

@ We replied based on the information available on the internet in Japanese (in English we found no information).

The video is good and interesting, but your sound isn't good, stereo or headphones don't work because it's only possible to hear you on the left speaker. Ok, that's an overstatement. It's just annoying to hear someone on only one ear.

so, whats so special about these uninventive boring concrete-and-glass bunkers? where are the surprises, the joy?
