Dubolhati Zamindar Bari or Dubolhati Raj Palace is about 6 km from Naogaon town and is located in Dubolhati union of Naogaon district. Local people call it Dubolhati Rajbari. The land area of ​​this huge palace is about 5 acres. It carries almost 200 years of old buildings and history.
Dubolhati Rajbari was founded by Zamindar Krishannath Roy Chowdhury and later Harendra Roy Chowdhury became the king by succession and did many things for development like digging a pond near the palace, establishing a school. That is why the entire palace area is still surrounded by ponds. The palace had at least three hundred spacious rooms, seven artistic separate balconies, and two beautiful thrones made of gold and ivory. It was decorated with colored glass and various types of sculptures. But the palace is now abandoned as it was destroyed by the Pakistani army during the War of Independence in 1971.
The palace was a three-storied building and had a reception hall, dining hall, private theatre, prayer hall, guest house, and conference hall. But now only two floors remain and there are no doors and windows. There is a watch tower at the edge of the palace. A plastered motif hangs over the inner entrance of the palace. There is also a water well. Some terracotta bricks can still be seen in the walls there.
