This album is a concept album based on the poetry of one of Japan's leading haiku poets, Tawara Machi. The album is composed of readings and Kayōkyoku (pop songs), with the single "Salad Anniversary" as the main song, which was cut as a 7" inch.

Shigeaki Saegusa, Hajime Mizoguchi, and Yasuyo Yamaki wrote the music for "Sarada Kinenbi" by Machi Tawara, and Noriko Watanabe provided the vocals and narration. The vividness of the sound and meaning of the words comes alive in the narration. Is it the difference between a poem and a lyric that is somehow ambiguous when sung?
