Hello guys! So is there any other major difference between dosing pumps or just the connectivity?

does your phone have to be connected on the wifi for the pump to work? Can you set and forget? Wanting to use a single for planted tank ferts for a three week holiday period

Provided you have bluetooth connectivity you can set the P1 pump up to your required programme and then leave it do its work. Hope that helps Teddy

I think if the unit is hooked up to an Neptune Apex you can adjusted anywhere.

Can I control and monitor from the app after setup, even if I am away from home and not connected to my wifi but my mobile network?

I am afraid not. The pump can be controlled via the app once connected but not unless you an connected to your home wifi or to the pump directly.
