There are horrible, sinister people out there, who are lauded, even cast in bronze. Alfred Kinsey regularly corresponded with nonces, taught them how to collect certain "unique and valuable" data I better not write down (look for his table 34 if you dare), protected them from the law and even praised them for providing said data for his books. How is Gygax worse than him for talking about most girls disliking dungeon crawls, exploration and battle mechanics and creating a Eurocentric game in a country, that was overwhelmingly European-American in the 1970s and 1980s? Women weren't excluded, that is an outright lie. They were there from the very start, typing, playtesting, watering the office plants, etc. But they were rare. The only chicks, who played before Vampire came out were tomboys and chicks obsessed with Tolkien. I sort of remember the looks I got just for reading fantasy novels. It only changed after the LOTR Trilogy and GoT took the world by storm and the genre was suddenly in. And D&D was getting more diverse per year, with Arabic, African, Asiatic and Mesoamerican locations added to its worlds, but it was never enough for certain people, and these supplements are considered problematic now, because they were written by White people.

The anniversary book was being sold for $100. It's now 50% off, and people are promoting it, asking people to buy it to show that chud Elon. Some people are saying it's only 50% off due to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but others are saying it's because of Hasbro's liquidation fire sale and them trying to vacate to Boston.
