I just hope they finally publish it. I know UA is for testing stuff out but have gotten really tired of cool stuff appearing in UA only to never make it into the official game in any form.

It feels like a they are putting lots of time into this one. Hopefully the 2020 spring release includes some content like this.

But when will it be updated on dnd beyond?

Unfortunately, I don't think they've said anything about it yet. Hopefully it won't be very long. I'll post a comment here when I hear something.

FYI: the updated class options are now available on D&D Beyond.

i like it but the spell storing is to high up to be usefull

That's a good point. I'd like to see a single use spell storing item at an earlier level and an increase use at 18. The majority of players will never get access to it at 18th level.

They really didnt address a lot of concerns from the last update either. Sure they addressed the conflict with the loading property for crossbows but there's still a fair lack of class features compared to other classes and as a result, a lot of dead levels. I dont think the infusions make up for that. Plus the new subclasses scale fairly well, but the original two still plateau almost instantly. They start good, but they dont really get any stronger.

@@SnarkyRogue that's a good point, I think the alchemist needs a bit more to do as it levels, I like the Artillerist but it would be nice if there was some sort of variety to be gained in wands or turrets. I'm guessing that they probably had this release planned for a while now. Probably weren't too worried about incorporating the feedback from the last release until they get all of the subclasses released.

@@FitzTheGame Yeah apparently they've got a survey coming up for it soon(ish?) so hopefully enough people call out these recurring problems that they look into it. Most people on reddit right now are just complaining and insisting that some guy's homebrew is better. Hopefully the survey sends them an actual message they can work with. I'd love to see the class fully published but it's got a ways to go. I'm also hopping they really keep at this until it's done, rather than let it sit for years again after another update or two. I really want to see this fleshed out and finished this time.

@@SnarkyRogue so true. The survey is a great way to get your opinion heard. No point in complaining and hoping your group is okay with homebrew. Hopefully the survey is out soon. I'll do a video on it when it launches to try and spread the word.
