@@Whinterfell unless, I've missed something, D hasn't broken AE or done much illegal roles, Hordebreaker is a ranger feat & favoured enemy & terrain are working in his favour. Rangers, conditional af, but scary good in the right circumstances.

After watching more of their stuff D is a serious power player and it shows with how he builds and plays. So having him just roll to roll when not asked or needed at times kinda makes it hard for newer players.

I love D and all as well as D&D but this episode was basically OP D kills the whole town. Like he did so many actions in his turn and Nico and Brandon did barely anything also after D's first long turn Nico had his turn and it went straight back to D Brandon got completely skipped. It was a good episode and all and D is my favourite person in Node but I just feel like D's character was way too OP and he had too many actions in his turns also Brandon got to kill that first Orc and he did absolutely nothing afterwards.

I know this is three years old. But regardless... Rangers are literally the worst class in the game in many peoples eyes. D's character is far from OP. The reason he made so many attacks is because a VERY specific ability. Some Rangers can make an extra attack if the target is standing within 5 feet of another one. Which means D got his two regular attacks, and a bonus one from that ability. That ability is extremely niche and rarely does anything. So it isn't broken, just situational. And the reason Niko didn't do anything is because Crossbows are shit without the right feats. Why? Becuase the loading feature. "Because of the time required to load this weapon, you can fire only one piece of ammunition from it when you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to fire it, regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make." So, even though Niko has two attacks, just like D, the crossbow only allows him to make one. That's why Niko didn't do a lot. He's a melee fighter, using a horrible ranged weapon. In melee, Niko has a fuck ton of broken abilities that trump anything D can do. Because Battle Master Fighters are bullshit. Niko has abilities to trip people, make attacks with advantage, give opponents disadvantage, buff his armor class, etc... And all of them boost his damage. He just doesn't use them often from what I remember from the rest of this campaign. So D being so "overpowered" was a more of a situational thing. Niko is way stronger. But I don't really have an answer for Brandons turn getting skipped.
