@dvd3mon7424 жыл бұрын
My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone."

My reasoning as to why I play a Khajiit in Elder Scrolls games, Dragonborns in D&D and tend to gravitate towards non-human races: I am a human in real life. Why then, in a fantasy setting where I can be literally anything else, would I play as a human? Want to play a human fighter? You go right ahead and have fun with that. Meanwhile I'm over here playing a Tabaxi Cleric who spends half the campaign chasing the holy light that appears whenever I channel divinity.

I'll start with my questions 1. What systems/editions have you guys played? 2. What are your favorite classes/concepts 3. What kind of furry would you be? 4. How long have you been DMing/playing & how did you get into it? 5. Would you guys consider doing recorded DnD sessions? Even just audio! 6. Do you find it difficult to find players who are ok with your lax stance on rules (my DM style is very loosey goosey as well and sometimes I find its an unpopular playstyle) Anyways I also wanted to say I really like your animations :D sips inspired the wild mage arcanist im playing in pathfinder right now (a lil less dumb and a bit cold)....I also went and read all the way through your webcomic that was a fun time

"stops time for five minutes" but time is stopped whar 5 minutes
@guikoi31014 жыл бұрын
@Cold Pepsi Exactly. Time Stop pauses time for everything except the caster and things the caster is directly interacting with at the time of casting the spell (such as clothes and shit). Spells cast during the Time Stop are also not stopped because the magic is a part of the person who cast the spell, so it counts as not paused. But after a spell such as Fireball were to hit something, or move far enough away from the caster, it would pause as the magic used to create the Fireball no longer counts as part of the caster. At least, that's how I imagine it would work.

This is why sorcerers take the careful casting meta-magic, so you can fireball an entire room without killing your friends.
@noahgisolf69976 жыл бұрын
Thats why cool people dont do it its a lot of fun to blow up your friends on accident
@kirbs00016 жыл бұрын
sorcerers are better with quicken, subtle, extended, etc. Careful casting is almost entirely useless. Easier just to cast to a location that doesn't hit allies, or cast a spell that only targets enemies.
@carsonrush33526 жыл бұрын
@@kirbs0001, yeah, wizards definitely do it better, but it's incredibly frustrating when you can never use area spells to their full effect, because allies rolled higher on the initiative and got mixed into the fray before you could do anything. We had a campaign with large-scale warfare as a central feature, and my druid struggled to use anything big, because I had people trying to flank everything in sight. It's also hard in a party of 6-7 players.
@carsonrush33526 жыл бұрын
@@noahgisolf6997, sometimes you gotta kill a room full of intellect devourers and before they find your 2 player party or the kids hiding from them in the corner. On a related note, DMs never expect you to put fireball in the top corner of a room to reduce its radius, missing the kids crouching in the opposite corner of a 20 ft cubic room.
@sircastic9596 жыл бұрын
Nah, just cast scorching ray or double your disintegration whenever you can´t "danger-close" the fireball. EDIT: BY the way, aside from the possibility of you missing the shots, which is less of an issue than them making the save, splitting the damage of a scorching ray can be almost as effective as fireballing them. And obviously, twinned disintegration will often help you take down those two guys close to your friends. Alternatively, use a sleep spell if you know that your friends have higher HP than the enemies.

As a Dm who regulary splices and Homebrew/ports monsters, there's no way I would get a single medium sized creature make even 8 attack rolls in a turn, let alone 45. Even it they had an attack capable of using all of them, it would have very limited range and a Dex save at the -least-. Dm might have put redundant hands in case PCs decided to disarm/cripple her and to make it harder to do so.
