I love three scenes in this section. The bit where Shadow Demon flinches as Venger grabs a fireball, where Eric almost chokes Presto with his shield and where the just eyes of Tia Mat in the dragons skull before the rest of her appears.

I loved the use of silence in the soundtrack for this episode. It was probably some of the first ever used for such a show, as well as original music written just for this episode. It was re-dubbed with stock soundtrack for the U.S. dvd release. Very sad.

this was actually the first time venger actually became a badass-intimidating villain who actually acted dangerously... before that he always had those bullshit schemes. A lesson to supervillain masterminds: If you want to win the battle: DO SHIT YOURSELF

Interestingly; It was during the 80's that global warming started becoming an issue, although it reached prominence during the 90's.
