He also has made me and any character I play his target the most.... and drove me to drink and almost blacked out in rage at the hell's he makes towards me. And we barely have started with a new group that is with my poor man. Oh right also he killed my hometown and a alternate me family and made them into ghouls that attacked us when sent there to investigate rumors of there being life again....

As a DM, i try to use character backstory and wreak a little mental trauma, sure, but i want the players to enjoy the game as much as i do. Haha dead, alive, our dm kicks me square in the jewels every chance he gets. He has made my character against mine and his will whip his adopted daughter to death, killed and resurrected an alternate reality men's village then tormented me with them and his family. He has tortured and killed my characters wife and kids. Oh and is tormenting the only other person that is serious in this campaign by using his dead family and his now dead brothers loved ones as targets. And then the others wonder why I drink and have almost become blackout enraged to the point blood vessels in my eye burst how angry he makes me. Yet there is apparently a chance we can fix this stuff.... if only the others were serious or able to understand jack all of what's happened.

I know that they aren't gonna see this, but @16:11 assuming the dm uses the standard rules of wish, she could just use it to cast resurrections. It's an 8th level spell, which the wish spell does state those happen automatically without fuckery attached. Of-course this is also assuming that the disintegration didn't also destroy to capture the soul of the kid.

Plus wish would work for one of the things; but not both of the things. You can't just pray away trauma but work through it and I certainly wouldn't attempt to do both with the same wish spell. Pretty sure that's how Ettin's are born. XD It is interesting though. My character adopted a clone assassin as his daughter after training her as a master for the better part of the year, only for the squad's royal blunder put her into a grand perdicament. My character went to rescue her and found himself alone with the dead stormtroopers surrounding him, finally falling to the foul nature he had kept at check for so long before being killed, so it's a pretty involved situation to be in. XD

Yeah, she have to content in bring the boy back only since trauma can be resolved with therapy. Now considering they a party of levels 10 and they have a cleric the best wish to make is, with those words, "I wish to have in my possession the dead and complete body of 'the full name of the boy' as if he had just die 6 seconds ago" them cast remove curse, large restauration and revivify. And if the DM don't hate you I sincerely don't see a problem.

The problem is not the wish but how annoyingly descriptive the player is, the sheer amount of detail, and control she placed into making her imaginary children damaged, injured, and already traumatized due to amputation, and mental disorders the DM is not at fault. The DM just added more trauma to already traumatized individuals and the player didn't like it. She is now using her social media influence to call out this DM and to rally for her followers in supporting her. The DM needs to see that video so they know to kick her from the table, because if she is this annoying about having a problem like this you can only imagine what it is like at the table during sessions.

With the wish: I wish for both of my children to be alive, in perfect health, with only the memories before they were kidnapped. That should make it so the dead one is alive and the only memories they have are before the kidnapping (No traumatic experience) and that they have no health issues.

Starting with kids as an adventurer makes little sense. You'll be gone for weeks or months at a time into areas of extreme danger. Being a single parent adoptive parent is just plain bonkers. Imagine being deployed in real life as a single male parent to early Iraq. No short deployment. No zoom or facetime calls. Hell, no long distance calls if you're at a FOB in BFE. The kids will be raised by a paid nanny or maybe a relative. And that's just a single campaign....

I got booted from 2 different tables being a rogue and stealing from 1 NPC SUCCESSFULLY. The DM gave me no money or any items for it, and he got the old lady/random dude to turn into a ghoul and bite me. It was a successful roll, how did it alert them? The party killed me and told me to leave the table. I was a lvl 1 rogue, and I hadn't played much DnD before. Not cool to do to a newbie. I didn't think 2 different tables would act the same way. Why have a rogue class if you cant steal? I didnt steal from the party, and if they had talked to me about how bad it was, i would have given whatever I got back to the person. I just wanted the XP.
