Biggest moral gripe of summoning spells is that summoned things seem to not like being summoned quite often. Also, it's unclear if Tash's summons fix that. I suppose a lot of conjuration spells can be role played as you being friends with creature or something like that, but it's still a bit weird.

My drow is an elf who focused on developing his mind and body, primarily becoming a monk and a semi-master of psionics, using both to do insane damage in combat. Of course, harnessing his mind, body and discipline, hes able to practically learn very fast and understand things very well. He's used this to expand his influence in creating constructs out of flesh and metal to create clones of himself that further his knowledge and allow him to learn aspects of conjuration to summon them to and fro. Furthermore, studying aboleths and slimes, he gained the idea to bind himself with a slime so he produces a liquid that bends to his will, able to be suppressed or expanded to any level, as well as have its properties be changed so it can do anything from projecting spells to hardening into an armor or aiding in his physical attacks through added force. In conjuration, hes able to mix his psionic and slime abilities to code a spell perfectly and both enhance and better control an ally by imposing his will into a part of the slime, lace it with psionic energy and spells, and then have that slime be absorbed and dissipate into an ally or enemy. Perfect conjuration mage.

Rules as written in 5E, you can't have two subclasses (the subclasses ate where wizards specialize in a specific spellcasting school) when you're playing a single class character, but nothing is stopping you from learning or choosing spells from differing schools as long as they're on your spell list.

There is the "Creation" spell, which lets you create any sort of material you like for short amount time (that spell is from the school of illusion for some reason)
