Trying so hard to not "um actually" in regards to the Silver Flame 😂

As much as this place has going on, I just truly cannot find it interesting. Stories are based around conflict or at least consequences. You can have deep introspection stories without consequences, but Dnd is almost never one of those. If they have this many layers of “fuck off, the status quo is staying where it is,“ then nothing you do will ultimately matter here. There are more interesting places to go with better ties to the rest of the world to find unique and interesting cultures or get lost information, spies, or large quantities of trade goods. I don’t hate the radiant citadel, I just don’t want to play a DND campaign in a daycare.

I put them in my game and they spied on the party for the main villain. When the party noticed them they ran away screaming. The party caught one and put him in a cage and kept him as a pet.

Nah. This isnt accurate until you run the same sim 100 times miltiplied by the number of combatants. Then we will get an average win/loss ratio that will give us a solid winner. Also. You need to play them in to their strengths. Standing still never helps.

In 1v1 definitely wizard or sorcerer cause they will just cast sleep

4:27 How can the fighter have rolled a 6? They have con save prof, and considering their hp, they should have around a +7 at minimum, more likely a +8 or +9 or so to con saves. Plus indomitable means he can reroll the save.

Want t9 see this animated. The fighter needs to look like a Matrix character though.

I disagree with psionics going through walls. Maybe for targeted attacks where the attacker knows the position of their target, but mind blast feels like a vaguely aimed shockwave. It ripples outwards, stopping at walls. Like a strong gust of wind. Wind made of headaches and screaming.

All boils down to how one rolls... thats it. Can have the best AC and highest HP, but means nothing when the small squishy person Crits for max damage

kind of always felt like the Gremishka was the other side of the coin to Tibbits, not that Tibbits exist in 5e. but both are catlike beings that only exist because wizards are gonna wizard.

I did a tournament with the 2024 rules for all 12 classes at level 10. It was a double elimination bracket, and I made and played all the characters (it was sad but a lot of fun). In the end, the Sorcerer won it all. I believe a big reason for that is because I had the Sorcerer be a Wild Magic Sorcerer, and honestly the new Wild Magic Sorcerer is low key broken. As long as you have spell slots, you can get advantage on any d20 test, and if you do that you roll on the new, super buffed Wild Magic table

The Rogue or Bard wins, because the rogue hides until everyone but one is dead then backstabs them or the bard because they can talk others into alliances better and team up (and then betray them later at an opportune time)

This is an insane take, but these creatures feel kinda like transwomen? I mean if grey renders were smarter and way weaker, I feel like it would kind of fit? Maybe I should make a half-grey-render race or something.

I'd like to have seen this but the characters actually think optimally and for winning/survival. Like when the rogue and cleric were fighting, the cleric was already low - the monk could have moved behind the rogue, killed him and then just had a cleric on death's door to deal with. Would have liked some terrain too maybe, so the casters could hide, or the rogue could hide etc. Would have enjoyed seeing people focus the barbarian and paladin first instead of just attacking anyone, because those classes are more likely to win/be impactful. Good video though, enjoyed it c:

You don't get it? A culture of slavers is exactly what a matriarchy would turn into. Women don't do the labor or dirty work. They would use the force of others to press others into doing it for them.
