If Dish 3 was med rare, I would've went with that one. Well done steak is no bueno for me. Dish 2 w/ the mac and cheese looked delicious. Steak pie seems interesting...is it like chicken pot pie?

Similar but the gravy sauce taste is different. In the UK we have Steak and Ale pie. The ale is a sweet/fruity in taste but dark in colour alcohol so as you can imagine the gravy in the pie compared to chicken pot pie is less creamy and darker colour.
