I dont understand how Americans can come and cuss UK music (Grime, Trap, Garage etc.) at the end of the day your most commercial and mainstream music is Hip-Hop and if you listened to a Hip-Hop song from 30 years ago, it sounds nothing like the modern Hip-Hop tune, thats because the genre has had time to develop and become what it is today. The same will happen for UK music, Everyone is valid to their opinion. but within 20 years time UK rap will definatly be as big as Hip-Hop as the genre will have developed, also your female rappers in the modern times just exploit themselves to sell music I.E Nicki Minaj but if you look at UK female MC's their lyrics and bars are propally much better but they dont exploit themselves to make money from music(thats my opinion and some people may disagree) but my point is at the end of the day if you listen to word play and metaphors in UK rap its more poetic and thats what rap originally was.
